Hello friends!I typically have a Midlife topic or Inspirational post on Fridays, but I wanted to post this  while still on vacation . We took these photos a few weeks ago when it was still warm, in the 80s in NC, so I thought I would just share them with you today, and talk about shopping your closet.Its funny. I have more Fall and Winter clothes than I do Summer/Spring clothes, even though I have been living here in NC for 15 years. I think its because I just love Fall fabrics and layering, along with beautiful jackets, motos, and cozy sweaters. I have added some new pieces to my Fall wardrobe, but also enjoy shopping my closet, and reaching for that tweed jacket I have not seen in a year. Today, I styled my neutral snake skin dress I I received from Natalie Attired, a box service that I collaborated with a few years ago.

Hello friends!Well, I am on a plane as we speak to San Fransisco CA, or Port Costa, to be exact. Hubby and I rented a house ( VRBO) with a beautiful view of the bay, and will be staying an hour from SF,  30 minutes to Sonoma and Napa. We will take the ferry in so we don't have to drive in town. I am so excited and desperately needed a change of environment and some escape. Excited to visit the vineyards, I have been trying different California  Cabs to prepare me for the trip :-)However, I wanted to keep up my linkup today and am happy to bring you another style from one of my favorite brands, JAMBU.  Morning friends!Tomorrow is the day - we leave for San Fran and Wine Country! I can't wait to explore and will later be bringing you our trip here, on the blog. The linkup is still on. so do stop by! Today I am bringing you another Fall look  from Soft Surroundings.  I just love their soft garments, the styles and detail in their clothing. Happy Friday everyone!Today I thought I would write a bit of a fun post just talking about how important it is to "let your hair down", and relax, not taking life too seriously. My mom will tell me how much she loves my sense of humour, and that I need to show it more. I can be serious at times, but I love to joke around, be sarcastic, have fun and not take things too seriously.  Read my post-Not Letting Go of Your Child-Like Spirit. You all have heard "Laughter is the best medicine." It is so true!
