Pink shades and crochet

IMG_1874   IMG_1881   IMG_1882   IMG_1891   IMG_1902   IMG_1908   IMG_1911   IMG_1909   278975-300fashion-flowers-pink-roses-Favim.com-193654   Hi Ladies, Remember the 80s movie with Molly Ringwald “Pretty in Pink”?? How do you wear pink?

A different skirt from the crotched pencil skirt I had on a week or so ago, this is more of a salmon pink color. Who can say no to pink? What is it that makes it so attractive to women? Pink roses, light pink, ballerina days( I used to be one)? What images does pink conjure up in your head? I always think femininity, flowers, delicate… Here I decided to pair a cream fitted jacket to break up the monochrome look. The skirt is a delicate crotched pattern, and I added this handmade necklace from Vintage Ooak Designs via Etsy. A bib necklace, this just kind of looks like a bouquet resting below your neck and I love that the shades are ombre to add interest in more pink tones. Does wearing pink make you feel feminine? Do you wear much pink in your wardrobe, and if so what shades attract you?

Have a great day!

I love this pinkish salmon heels by Sofft. When I could wear heels, I often wore wedges, I and just thought these were very cute.

Skirt: Loft ( old, similar), Jacket ( Target), Pink top ( Ann Taylor), Bag: Brahmin ( Ebay), Necklace ( Etsy: Vintage oOak Design)

I love pink. My favorite shade is what I call ‘bubble gum’, however, I will wear any shade that catches my fancy. I wear it year-round, as well.

Great> I like certain shades of pink, has to be not to bright, but go with my skin tone. I say, no rules! Why not wear it year round

I loved that move, Pretty in Pink!! It was one of my favorites.
I love the skirt and the top you are wearing in this. They are awesome. I am really liking the skirt though. Pink was never a color I could wear but it looks great on you.

Thank you. Yes my wardrobe contains a good amount of pink and i could use more greens and blues, but that will have to come later, my budget is a bit ahead. I love textured skirts, thanks!

I am glad you like the necklace, it is handmade and I just thought it would even make a plain t shirt look good. I love what you pick as accessories as I can tell the artist in you!

Pink is one of my favorite colors in all its many shades. I actually wore a pale pink Burberry Trench to church yesterday over my otherwise all-black ensemble 🙂 You look beautiful in your “pinks” and I really love the necklace!

How does wearing pink make me feel? Calm, pretty, and most definitely feminine.
