Many of you are familiar with the concept of custom made clothing. When Raues contacted me they told me that their clothing is made for anybody of any size. What I would have to do is submit about 25 measurements, and I did with the help of my husband, to ensure a tailored unique piece for my body. No matter what the measurements, they can make the garment. As I wrote this, I received an email stating that they now have the feature  on their site, which will allow the customer to choose if they want a Slim Fit, Tailored Fit, or Relaxed fit. When I initially submitted my measurements, and they were spot on, I did not mention I like things a bit more relaxed and not so form fitting to the body. I received the black     dress, the Sarah Dress, with my choices of sleeveless,v-neck, no pockets and keeping the length as is.

The package came in a lovely box, wrapped in tissue paper, with a delicate pink bow tied to it. When I tried it on, it did fit, albeit much more to the body than I am used to.It did fit , and showed off what is the smallest part of me, my waist. A fit and flare style is one I would consider. However, part of my decision  due to my illness, I like to have a looser fit, as my muscles/skin can be hypersensitive when wearing a  form fitting garment.

The customer service was spectacular! I contacted Sandra, who was wonderful, and we spoke via email back and forth. She told me that I could choose another dress and to let them know I would like it in more of a relaxed fit. I thought this was an amazing offer from a company, and really appreciated the service and attentiveness to detail that they showed. I chose the Evie dress, as my dress, and the turn around time was quite fast. One can choose to change the sleeve type, pockets or no pockets, the neckline, and the length of the dress. I wanted long sleeves for the fall, liked a v neck, and kept it at knee length. Again, I received the dress in a timely manner,and was very pleased when I opened the box. I love the sapphire blue color,and am a fan of velvet. The fit for me was perfect as they made the dress more of a relaxed fit, and I could see myself styling this in many ways. I chose to wear this with flannel grey 40s style pumps, some vintage style blue and opal jewelry and a navy blue textured clutch to complete the look. Later in the season, I may wear it with some black booties, textured tights, and perhaps jewel toned emerald jewelry. I love the straight style, and the fact that velvet has some give,so it is very comfortable.

The other great thing about the company is that they ship Internationally at a flat rate of 20 USD, and if one is over $200, the shipping is free. They use Fedex to ship the products, and as I mentioned it was a quick turn around time. They will do returns within 30 days as well. I had a wonderful experience with them, as I mentioned, my emails were answered promptly and professionally, and the company wanted me to be pleased with the dress
