06 Dec REALHER Makeup for the Holidays and Beyond

Who doesn’t like a bit of glam for the Holidays? I enjoy putting my hair in hot rollers, using some Bumble and Bumble volume spray and may even add a pearl barrette or two. Not only do I like my hair to have a certain glam factor for Christmas, but I want a different look with my makeup for the Season and this makeup speaks to you! I want to introduce you to the company, REALHER. 

I was contacted by REALHER, a makeup company who sends positive messages to individuals and focuses on cruelty-free makeup at great prices.  REALHER  “was co-founded by beauty industry veterans Megan Merid and Bill Xiang. Megan, with a desire to create a different beauty brand with a powerful message. Each of the products has a message- a phrase of positivity or empowerment. The vision is to have the user know their worth and individuality and be proud of it.

The Cheek Trio states the “Ultimate Glow Getter”, the REALHER IV shadow palette says to “Embrace YOurself”. and the Liquid Lipstick, Gloss, and Liner tells me “I am Fabulous”. When I open the lipstick package, on the product itself states, ” I am Tough” and “I am a Fighter”. Maybe I need to wear this lipstick when I am having a bad day with my EDS!  “Allure Magazine named REALHER’s “I Am Tough” Liquid Lipstick as one of the “Top 10 Best Vegan Red Lipsticks” on the market.”

There were 3 eyeshadow palettes and although I liked all of them, they sent me the one with wonderful sunset colors that would go with my green eyes and red hair. The colors are very saturated and blend well, which is what I look for in an eyeshadow.

I do really like the “I am Tough” and ” I am a Fighter” red lipstick and gloss. It’s not always easy to find the right shade of red, and with the Holidays, I like to wear a red lip at times. This is a lovely dark rich red that goes more with my skin tone, as opposed to an orangey- red.

I am all about “glow” and “illumination”! You don’t have to go overboard, but I like some shimmer at the highest part of my cheekbones, especially for a Holiday look. The color on the left is more of a bronzer, or contour.  I’d be more apt to use the shimmery shade in the middle and the peachy shade on the left.   This palette is called “The Ultimate Glow Getter” which is perfect for highlighting.

Its been awhile since I used a lip liner, but may give this a go. I love the darker red shade that is in the gloss/lipstick. This trio is named, “I Am Awesome”. I think before you apply it, say that to yourself in the mirror! why not?

This palette is called the affirming, “Embrace Yourself”. Don’t you love that?

This picture is the palette I was gifted and I have enjoyed blending ‘change”, “accepting” and Uplift”. I also will add the vibrant color, “together” in the corner of my eye before blending. The colors here are perfect with my hair and wardrobe.

They offer 2 other eyeshadow palettes in neutral and purple tones.

Its been fun experimenting with these colors!

I also would love this Pro Blush Palette called “You Are Brilliant”. The shades are lovely and offer peachy and pink tones all in an easy single palette.

This is me experimenting with the shimmer of the 3 piece set, the warm eyeshadow and the red lipgloss/pencil. I do like this red shade!

Here I changed the look by using plum shades on my eyes and a rose pink matte lip color from Makeup Forever.

Real HER is “CERTIFIED CRUELTY-FREE and PARABEN FREE makeup brand”  and I have been researching cruelty-free brands recently, so this is good to know.
