Ruby dress in Paisley

IMG_5654

Hello Ladies

I hope everyone is ready for Christmas. It is time to be with family, enjoy and appreciate what we all have , and bring joy to our loved ones by giving gifts, and being together. We spend our Holidays at home in Charlotte. I like to dress in comfort, but dressy enough to go out for last minute activities. The great thing about this latest #Karinadress, is that it is wearbable all year. Ruby, a sleeveless style here, is styled by my red roses cardigan I wanted to pair with this paisley print.

This is another dress by Karina, that I have styled with Modcloth using their Style Gallery. If you would love to see all the Karina dresses I have styled recently, check my Gallery out HERE. You can click on the heart for the styling or dresses you like.

I love the faux wrap style as it is a style flattering for almost all body types. THe colors are saturated and vibrant, with red, blue and dots of green throughout  the paisley pattern. I styled it with my little vintage red bag, burgundy peep toes, rose embellished Banana Republic cardigan ( you have seen before) and pearl earrings. What I love about these dresses, and I probably have said this time and again, is they are vintage inspired, which I love, require no ironing, and are as comfortable as pajamas. These are some of my requirements when buying or receiving clothes ! Still wanted to wear festive colors this Christmas Eve, so the pearls and the red are my touch for the day. Just going out for breakfast and wrapping last minute gifts, so I didn’t feel the need to get super dressed up.

I will be going out with a friend  after the Holiday and we are going to try making jewelry,as I received a kit for Christmas a few years back. I told her I would bring the vino, she supplies some of the beads, as  we work on jewelry, one of a kind pieces, sounded like fun.

As I mentioned, I am like a kid during the Holidays, so I get impatient when it is time to give gifts. I want to give them out NOW! I just love getting things that are meaningful for my family, and husband, and the relaxing day we make of it. Where I am NOT a kid at Christmas is waking up my family at 5 am to go tearing down the stairs and say, Santa came, Santa came! 🙂

Have a Happy Christmas Eve, and Happy Holiday!!

Jess xo

You look amazing Jess, definitely festive! Love the dress; paisley is as timeless as florals! Perfect all through the year and I look for dresses I can do that with too. You have a fabulous earring collection! I have made several necklaces, in fact, I made the turquoise necklace in my latest post “Green Christmas” and I’m working on a new one now.

Enjoy the Christmas holidays and have a fashionable New Year!

thank you again Carmen, my Karina dresses have great prints and are super comfy. I try and go after vintage or vintage inspired earrings when I can. Sounds great about making them. I am going to give it a try as my neighbor does it too. Have a wonderful new year as well, jess xo
