Where has Summer gone? August is almost over, so I am styling a linen wrap skirt for these Dog Days of Summer.

Styling a Linen Wrap Skirt

I love a great wrap skirt. So, flattering on all figures, I found this one from Mango on Poshmark. I loved the vertical stripes and the mustard yellow with cream color. To keep it simple, I styled it with a white tank and some gold flecked espadrilles. My clutch ( similar, similar)  adds some texture to the look as well. The exact skirt is not available but I have found a few options for you HERE, HERE, and HERE. 

You could certainly wear some slides with this making it easy and a bit more casual if you weren’t looking to wear a heel. There are some great slip-on slides with quilting, braiding, and other textures.

Another option is to wear a bodysuit, like this one I shared from Pumiey, to create a streamlined look.

Since it is more of a high-rise, you will either want to wear a thin top that can be tucked (like the tank) or a cropped top that will meet at the waistline. (SEE THIS POST)

Wearing a gold circular statement necklace adds to the warm tones of the shoes and skirt. I most often wear more delicate necklaces but do enjoy taking out a statement piece when it calls for it.

It will be hot here throughout September, but if you are transitioning into Fall, you could certainly add a denim jacket to this look. I also styled it with a favorite tee shirt and a bit more casually, with THIS REEL. 

Summer has flown by, and we have been so busy! In a good way though. My mom has been visiting and we had a wonderful Charleston vacation and are now making some last steps for our trip to Italy at the end of September. I am trying to plan outfits and I have to say, I am not a fan of packing! I never packed for 2 weeks. I have been buying a few things for Italy, and my hubby said “You know you don’t need to buy a wardrobe for Italy”…LOL!
