Hello Ladies (and Gents)I hope you enjoyed your weekend. It was a pretty relaxed one, running errands, cleaning the house and putting up decor/pictures as my mom will be visiting my sister and I in a few weeks. I don't think I am the only one runs to Target, and Lowes for "supplies" when company comes to visit. In the Spring, I like to plant a few flowers in the yard, but I am no gardener!Today I was in the mood to share with you a more "casual" look with a light wash jean, boyfriend style, my pink and tan snakeskin skip on shoes, and this navy pinstripe peplum top I scored for $15 on Poshmark. Gone are the days one wears "sweatpants" for a casual look, or dressing down. Let me put it this way, if "sweat" is in the description of the garment, I am NOT going to wear it! :-) I will wear yoga pants and nice sneakers but I am more apt to wear jeans if I am dressing down or want a more casual look. I dress, as I am sure most of you do, according to mood many times, and this was a day I just wanted to relax and be casual. I am already thinking of ways to wear my hair up when the weather gets too warm. Love the chignon, but for this look, a long ponytail, curled would do the trick.
Happy Monday All!I hope everyone had a great weekend! Ours was pretty filled with some fun things to do. We went to our favorite vineyard, ( remember there are over 90+ in NC) with the puppies, as we have been waiting for the perfect day to take them out as to not expose them to so much heat ( the humidity as been high). Raylan Vineyards had music, food and wine, so we were headed there Sat to sit and enjoy the atmosphere and have a good time. The temps were in the low 80s, a cool, comfortable temps for the pups to hang out with us. Sunday, we went to the Charlotte Symphony in the evening for a night of John William's music under the stars., always a good time. Today's look shows my new Zara statement necklace and how just adding this one piece can really amp up an outfit.
Hello LadiesI have been inspired by all of the white pants and white jeans I have been seeing lately! I had to wear a pair for a post. I have several, no rips, and rips and I am partial to the ripped jeans. Lets face it, if I were to snag a pair on a tree branch, causing yet another rip, who would know it wasn't a part of the style! ha! ha!
