White Jeans with a Patterned Top, Block Heels and New Moto Jacket

Hello Ladies

I have been inspired by all of the white pants and white jeans I have been seeing lately! I had to wear a pair for a post. I have several, no rips, and rips  and I am partial to the ripped jeans. Lets face it,  if I were to snag a pair on a tree branch, causing yet another rip, who would know it wasn’t a part of the style! ha! ha!

I have been introducing more blue hues into my wardrobe, as you have seen this week, and I have had this geometric Ann Taylor top for years. The wrap style is very flattering on and I decided it was also time to wear my baby blue irridescent shoes, which shine and show different colors in the sun. ASOS made me do it!  They have a block heel, pointed toe, and are strappy, I felt, what is not to love. I can walk in them a bit, enough to walk to my favorite wine bar with mom as she visits us and my sister.:-)

The quilted pattern of my blue Kate Spade bag looked similar to the pattern of the shirt and it is ne of my favorite bags. Since there is still a chill in the air in Charlotte,  it was time to bring out the new steel blue-grey leather jacket. Scored this one for $25 dollars! I loved the color and one can get away with wearing mainly moto jackets in  between seasons and for a better part of the year. This is a more modern look, as I do get used to my vintage inspired outfits, but also love to change it up a bit.

I am sharing some white jeans you might like for the spring season:

Jess I do love these beautiful shoes with their lovely shimmer – so pretty. The leather jacket was indeed a steal, and one I’d have gone for myself! I love these jackets and seem to be gathering more colours as time goes by. The ripped jeans, however are a style challenge too far for me. I suddenly feel my age when confronted with these. Maybe I just need to try some on? Hmmmm. You carry them off beautifully, but that could be down to your sleek figure as well as your age x

I have some white jeans that I rarely wear except on holiday. I love how you’ve styled these, I may have to dig mine out and get more use of them. Those shoes are really pretty, the colour and heel is perfect.

Thank you Amy! Yes we are now getting 70 degree weather but have chilly days. I have more faux leather jackets living here in Charlotte than winter coats. xx

Jess—-This (IMO) is quite a departure for you (no lace or flowers), but I think it’s fabulous!! It’s showing a little more rockish/masculineish side?
The jacket is quite possibly the bestest ever and I’m loving those shoes!!
Love, love, love this all!! jodie

I know those seem to be my favorite but I do like to try new things.. ponchos.. maxi dresses etc. So glad you like this look! Ill take rocker girl! Which reminds me I need to start playing my guitar more ! Thanks the jacket was a steal ( steel) pun intended! I thought you might like the shoes, they shimmer and you see different colors, plus the block heel is better for me. You could rock em Jodie! XO

Of course you look gorgeous Jess!!! Did your shoes come in other colors? I am dealing with back and hip issues and I’m being forced to flatter shoes and I think I could wear these. I just can’t do the distressed look…I rarely shy away from styles as long as I tailor them to suit my body but the distressed look makes me feel shabby. I don’t see shabbiness in others when I see the distressed look on them-you look awesome and so does my daughter! I love your top…I like the lattice design. I hope you are enjoying your mom’s visit. Have a fabulous day!!!

Aw Leslie thank you~ I appreciate the comment. No, the shoes are from ASOS, and they came in this color, but they have a sheen to them where you can see kind of an irridescnce. Sorry about your muscle issues. You know about me, I have Ehlers-Danlos a connective tissue disease that affects muscles, so I get where you are coming from. I can wear a block heel, as the stability is not a problem and I don’t stand for long periods. I think you could do these! Mom has been here for abit, and we are taking her out to a wine and tapas bar today, we have had a good time, thanks for asking, enjoy your day as well! xo

Jess, you are beautiful in soft aqua/teal..whatever that colour is called.
These new shades of blue are perfect.
Is there a colour you do not suit??
Even in distressed denim, you still look uber-feminine and a real class act.
A great look Jess…and I love those shoes! Is that a slightly metallic sheen I see?

Thank you Sam! I know it is a color I suppose I call Steel Blue or blue grey. Loved the style and price ! I think i stay away from yellows unless it is like a buttercup yellow and black unless i have color near my face. I appreciate the comment 🙂 Yes, there is a sheen and that is what I thought was cool about them, besides the block, but kind of an irridescence.
      Have a great day!
