Hello Friends!I've returned from our trip to visit my brother, who lives near DC. Our plan was to see the blooming cherry blossoms, visit the monuments, spend a day at a vineyard and go out for drinks/lunch. Well, I can say that I know of the Sakura trees from a folk song I taught in music class aptly titled: Sakura. As you know, we have had freezing temps, snow, and weather not conducive to blooming trees. In fact, we did not see one tree in bloom! Nevertheless, I didn't think to call my brother and tell him to skip the visit as the trees weren't blooming.hehe.. we would enjoy the week by spending time doing other things.
