My Casual Look

I gave a bit of history and poetry yesterday on the blog post- wearing traditional red for Valentine’s Day post. Maybe you are romantic but you don’t enjoy going out to meals that are a bit overpriced, crowded, and prefer a decadent meal at home with an excellent bottle of wine? We usually do stay home and celebrate in such a way, but this year we are going to Raylen Vineyards for their wine and truffle pairing. A great bottle of Cab and delicious chocolates; you don’t have to ask me twice!

This look will certainly fit the day. I received this silky chiffon tunic from Soft Surroundings a few years ago, and I just love the style and the beautiful rose shade.

Pairing it with my Spanx faux leather legging gives it a modern vibe and I added other plum tones to complete the look with my Italian leather boots and Treesje satchel. The details of the ruffled and braided style of the bag add to the romantic look.

La Casa

We have been thinking or (dreaming) about Spring here at my house and have ordered a new patio set and outdoor rug. I am also looking for some tall plants in planters to spruce up the area.

We have been looking at couches- mainly sectionals for our living room- and found out yesterday, it would be at least 6 months before it would arrive due to shipping delays! We just looking right now, but wow.
