THT-A Simple Casual Spring Formula with Jeans and Sneakers

I’m sharing with you a simple casual formula for a Spring outfit today on the blog.

A Simple Casual Spring Formula-

A jeans and sneakers outfit for Spring. Of course! But let’s take it up a notch! Many of us are continuing to work from home or have to go in a few days at the office. My brother was excited to get a job here in NC even before they have moved in.

This outfit would certainly work well as you do your Zoom calls, or just make you feel more put together, while still being casual in your jeans and sneakers.

I am wearing my Old Navy Rockstar jeans here with my Converse white sneakers. I always like a bit of height, even if I am tall, so I chose the platform converse over the standard.

This floral blouse recently caught my eye, and it is another Haute Hippie design. Remember I wore one of this brands blouses on this post- Another Casual Look for Valentine’s Day

The beautiful flowers and watercolor blouse stole my heart and I scored it secondhand on Poshmark. 100% silk and the fit is superb!

So, taking your mid wash jeans or light jeans, a pair of sneakers (not your gym sneakers but fashion sneakers) and add a button-down blouse and blazer. A structured bag will also elevate the look.

.So remember this formula for an elevated casual look- Blouse (basic) + jeans + Blazer (Completer piece). The accessories show your style personality and style. I am a satchel girl, and love structured bags, so this olive-green Teddy Blake bag was my choice.

What’s Happening?

Well, this week I have been going to alternating between the gym and my home gym for some variety. They installed all new equipment, and it makes me giddy like a schoolgirl! My endurance and speed is increasing on the treadmill, so I continue to judge my own progress, and am happy as I am moving forward!

We have been working a bit on our deck, and plan to stain it as soon as weather cooperates, and I have been buying a few decorating items for the deck and look forward to working outside. Next stop soon is the local nursery where I look for Columbines which are perfect flowers for our climate. I also want a bird bath for the garden this year.

For those that asked, Truffles is going for laser eye surgery on the 24th. No general anesthesia, just sedation. The cloudy eye was due to age ( no cataracts), and she has had a growth above her eye that needs to be removed. Ah, the beauty of aging, even when you’re a dog!

Such a beautiful outfit. Love the florals and those white sneaks! I really need to change over my closet soon for the Spring, so I can remember what I have! Ohhh, I hope the eye surgery goes ok for her and she doesn’t have much pain. I didn’t know you went to a regular gym, too! I have never had a gym membership, but I am sure they have a lot more equipment than I have at home for strength exercises!

Very cute outfit! I love a good sneakers look. I think I will put together something like this, this week. Thanks for the inspo. I hope Turffles is well. Aging is not easy for us or our fur babies.

    Peace

Love this polished casual look on you! The soft pink blazer was a great find for spring, and the beautiful watercolor floral blouse goes so well. Sound like you have some projects lined up for spring-it can’t come too soon! Hope Truffles’ eye surgery goes well!

I kind of miss my white converse but I never replaced them as they were not my most comfortable shoes. The one thing I want to add later this spring to my closet are some short sleeved floral blouses.

Great outfit, and that blazer was a steal! I also really like those Converse – the sole looks a bit thicker than the traditional ones. I bet they are much more comfortable.
Our sweet pups and aging! Aging certainly affects everyone doesn’t it. I’ll be thinking of Truffles on the 24th, glad they don’t have to do a general anesthesia and I hope her recovery is a breeze.

Thank you! It was and it still had tags 🙂 Its a boyfriend blazer so, I thought it would be fun to style casually. These converse are more comfy, i used to have the regular ones and they didnt have enough support. Appreciate it my friend!
