30 Aug THT- Dona Jo Sportswear and Life Lately
I am sharing a company out of Pittsburgh, my hometown, called Dona Jo. They are a sportswear company.
Dona Jo
I had this collaboration agreement before I got sick with Pudendal Neuralgia, so I had to share it with you.
They are a company out of Pittsburgh, and they make activewear for women. They are certainly known for their skorts. The skorts come in many different lengths, even for tall ladies! I am wearing a 17 inch length skirt and this reminded me of a Monet water painting. I liked the design and the layered frills. I can’t wear it at the moment, as there are compression shorts underneath, and with PN, you can’t wear anything that is form fitting there. No jeans, trousers for a bit, so at home I am utizing some of these purchases I wrote about in yesterday’s POST. READ IT HERE.
Sizing wise for the pieces, I would get your normal size. They have a size chart in which you can refer to. I am wearing smalls.
They have a multitude of patterns and colors, certainly great for my sis in law, who plays tennis. Maybe you are into the new rage, “Pickleball”? Well, these would we great for that.
I received two tanks and am sharing the one here on the blog, I like the greenish color and the style. It comes with a built in bra and is stretchy so its comfy too.
I am wearing them with my new New Balance 327 sneakers. I finally got a hold of a pair, and will share them more on the blog, as I will be in sneakers and cushioned shoes for a bit, as I have pain in my legs and feet. I wrote about retro sneakers here with THIS BLOG POST.
Life Lately
I am not going to say it hasn’t been trying. I feel like I have been knocked down a few pegs. I was doing quite well with my EDS and this came out of the blue. I am a believer in being pro-active though, so in a matter of the 2-week diagnosis, I have a Pain Management doc, who will perform a Pudendal Nerve block on me the mid of Sept. I also have a Pelvic floor PT and have seen her for an evaluation and will have steady 2 day/week appts starting after Labor Day. The pain is still very high, and not managed, so I have messaged the pain doc and may have to see about either giving Gabapentin more time at the high dose, or trying Lyrica or another med. All of this takes so much time. I am doing all I can for this, and just wish I didn’t have to wait 2 weeks for treatments! darn holiday! I spend the day with an ice pack – and my Gibson who doesn’t leave my side.
I was able to post this week, but it may be intermittant depending on how I feel. I am also on IG and the same for there.

Posted at 12:02h, 30 AugustSuch a cute outfit! Looks so comfy too. I have always liked the look of one shoulder tops, but not actually them. I like that this top sort of has that vibe, but with the extra straps. Popping over to check it out.

Posted at 04:34h, 30 AugustOh Jess, I am so sorry you are still having so much pain and that it cannot be managed. It’s hard to believe they cannot get this under control and that you have been suffering for so long. I hope that once the appointments start regularly that you get some relief but it is long overdue, bless your heart.
I cannot even imagine blogging when you feel so badly, take a break and take care of yourself sweet friend, I am praying for you!
