Blazers are hot. They are everywhere.

Well this one is not “hot” in the literal sense, as it is another linen blazer I picked up from J Crew Factory. ( but via Poshmark)

Some might ask, where am I going? I work at home, run out for errands, yada yada. I know dressing for yourself makes you feel better, even if you can lounge around all day in nightgowns, robes, and Pjs. There is something to be said for dressing.

I know when I dress well, my confidence is better, especially on those days I may not feel up to it. Put on a color, and it is a mood booster.

Now, factor in how blazers really elevate a look, and you are one sharp-dressed lady!

I really do love a tailored fit, and find that the blazer gives that structure to your figure as well as adding that polished look.

I told you all I went “linen crazy”, and I did add about 10 new pieces to my wardrobe- from dresses, skirts, to blazers and vests.

Really, if you live in the South, I think you get it. No one wants to be hot and sticky all summer.

This Holland Blazer in green, was bought when I was thrifting via Poshmark. I had bought this Holland Blazer, and the fit is amazing. I also purchased these olive linen pants from the J Crew Factory website, and thought the 2 might make a suit, only to find out the blazer is a little lighter green, less olive. But, I can create a tonal outfit with those pieces, so that is what I will style for you all. The blazer does come in a red, and a pink as well. If you are looking for this green, you may want to try Poshmark or Ebay. Here are some other options for Green linen blazers.

The fit is excellent! Comfortable without being loose, and the sleeves are long enough. I am wearing my usual size 4 in the blazer, so I would say order your normal size.

I knew it was time to bring out my lemon cami ( last years H&M) and my Old Navy, high waisted white jeans. Looking for a white or cream textured bag for summer, this was another Poshmark deal ( Zara) for $20.

My Valentino Dupe sandals ( Vaneli) are among my favorite in nude. I also love them in gold. 

Life Lately

Hubby and I had a dinner for my mom, sil, and brother, as often, we are guests, and will be with the pool this summer. My hubby made smoked salmon, pasta salad, grilled veggies, ( we had a charcutier board and shrimp cocktail first), then I made my famous Sangria, and would ask later if anyone wanted a Lemoncello Martini. ( Here is the recipe) Had a great time, shooting the breeze!

I am back to PT, but for my EDS. Weak muscles, cause trigger points in a body that is hypermobile. That’s me. I’m working on neck, traps, and back , as we work on lengthening the muscle. Then, the fun begins with strengthening. I am also going to vary my walking work outs with a trip to the gym for water aerobics.

I’ve been picking up my guitar and playing more. It relaxes me, but I am hoping to get some students, so I need to look into Google Ads.
