Trending Now: Block Heels

blockheel5

Hello Ladies,

Are you a stillleto kind of girl? Or do you wear flats? Perhaps you like a kitten heel like me.

However, now one can have a happy medium.  A trend I can get behind, or should I say, “on top of”. As you know, because of my medical condition, I can not wear a stilleto or a high heel. However, with this trend,  there are some very pretty and comfortable looking shoes with a 1-1.5 inch block heel. Today I am sharing some of my favorite block heels, which, let’s face it, is easier to walk in, and makes one’s legs look nice!  Looking at heel height, my research says that British Women on average wear the highest heel on average at 3.5 inches, however, I look at some of the runway shows of the past in 6 inch Loubutouins, and high heels one couldn’t possibly wear on a day to day basis “in real life”. I am really loving this mod style above from Zara, that I think would look precious with a shift dress.

You type “Block Heels” in a search engine and you will discover that there are many styles in stores, as they are one of the biggest shoe trends for Spring. I have pairs that I wear often, before the “trend” was made popular, in white, burgundy, black and green. Several of my pairs are vintage-square toed shoes, and others a more modern variety. So, if you are interested in comfort, but like this trendy look, there are many options for you.

Love these Jess, the first and the last are my favorites! I adore block heels, they are also good for me for stability.
I have been wearing these for decades despite them not trending. Now I am glad they are.
I can only wear high heels for a short time, and the platform helps me.
    Beautiful shoes here!

I love a chunky block heel and those pink sandals are drool-worthy….the perfect mix of girlie and edgy!
