Straight leg and a more relaxed fit denim  is one of the trends for Spring 2021. These AG Tomboy jeans fit the bill!

Relaxed Denim- Trending

I wrote about 10 Spring Fashion Trends 2021 –  have a read if you missed it. Since Coronavirus, we have gotten a bit accustomed to wearing loungewear, joggers, and comfy clothes. So, in that vein, there has been an interest in a more relaxed fit for denim.

I, myself, like to diversify when it comes to what cut of jeans I wear. I have skinny jeans, boyfriend, straight leg, flares, and others. Just like the rest of your wardrobe, wearing one style or cut can get tiresome, so mixing it up can certainly be more fun!

These AG jeans I scored on Poshmark are a straight leg relaxed fit style. I am wearing my usual size 27 ( 4) here and they are a bit loose in the waist, but are considered an older “boyfriend” style or relaxed straight leg. They are mostly cotton, with 2% stretch so not as soft as my other Ag’s but lighter denim. If you are looking for designer denim, consider secondhand, as I have scored many a bargain. The only downside is you can’t return them on Poshmark if they don’t fit.

This Anthropologie top is also secondhand, from Poshmark; I bought it a few years ago, love the quilting detail at the top, the boho style and of course, the colors.-Orange, blue, green.

How was your weekend?

My sister is an essential worker, so it is almost time she get the vaccine. Mom is fully vaccinated, so we had my sister up for dinner the other night, with masks , and enjoyed her and my niece’s company. Boy, I miss that! I look forward to hugging again, as I am a “hugger”!

I’m starting to read The Nightingale, by Kristin Hannah, as I finished The Great Alone. Oh, how I didn’t want that book to end!

I’ve been procrastinating a bit changing over my Fall/Winter clothes to Spring/Summer. I have those seasons in another bedroom closet, so it is a job! I have been eyeing Poshmark for some cute tops though
