Morning!

i have always been a fan of the khaki-olive tropical looks. And Pina Coladas… yes, pina coladas! No Hawaiian shirts for me ( or hubby) but just neutral earth tones and soft prints with a tropical vibe. I also love a great straw bag. I recently bought a straw circle bag from Poshmark I will style soon on the blog.

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We took advantage and drove about an hour to West Bend Winery. Do you know there is over 100 Vineyards in NC? The sun was out, we ordered food, there was music and I was with my hubby and pups. What more could i ask for?

Now about this outfit. This dress is a few years old, and from Zara. I fell in love with the print right away, as I love the neutral/blush flowers and green leaves in a comfortable shirt dress style. I could style this over trousers or jeans. The day i wore this out, it was 80 degrees, so a dress it was! My olive sandals by Franco Sarto were a perfect match with a bit of elevation with its designed platform. What song was going through my mind while doing this photo shoot? Good Old, Bob Dylan ” …the answer my friend, is blowin in the wind, the answer is blowin in the wind.”

It was so windy out.. our satellite dish went out of position…..my hair flowed every which way, but the right way.! All I could do was be patient and wait for it to calm down.

One new addition to this outfit is my blush pink tassle earrings from Mango. Add a pair of new earrings or statement necklace to an older look and presto! What is old becomes new again, and fresh. i loved the subtle color and it was a perfect match for the color in my dress. Mango has so many pairs that I am loving right now too.

This week, it’s all about dresses. I have been sharing more denim and white denim looks on the blog, I was jonesing for a dress! How many of you ladies prefer a dress when out and about in the warm weather?

      Thank you Kellyann. Ive had this dress for a few years, but have styled it differently. i love a neutral look with straw bags, even before it was trending. In the early summer it is all about shorts and dresses as it gets hot and humid in NC too. Happy Monday to you too! x
