Hello friends!Ahhh, there is nothing like that first sunny day, with the warm sun shining and the boats at the marina looking ready to make their way out on the Lake for the day. It was warm, 80 degrees, when we decided to do a photoshoot near The Cottage, and Lake Norman. When we first moved here, it felt like we were living in a resort. I think everyone tends to "take for granted' sometimes where they live, as you get accustomed to it, day to day. But I am a water girl, and i love looking at the pontoon boats and impressive house boats while sitting at Grandma Trudy's house drinking some refreshing Sangria or Cabarnay that day. I had been anticipating this event for a few months, after being invited to the City with 4 other bloggers, ranging from their 20s to 60s. I am utterly exhausted feeling like I was run over by a truck, but wanted to post about my experience. Last time I was in NYC, was a few years ago for Fashion week, and it was a whirlwind trip. This time, I was going to meet other fashion and travel bloggers along with part of the Jambu team. I was a bit nervous, but never have too much of a problem meeting and talking to new people.
