Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!
Thanks for being here.
How is your week going?
Today I wanted to style my second look with Fall colors. A kind of transitional look until we get into the real Fall weather.
Outfit and What’s Happening
Yesterday I added a bit of “pumpkin spice” to the blog this week! Not the coffee, but my outfit! The dress was pumpkin colored as the “spice” was the mix of patterns with my scarf, belt and bag. I am a bit impatient when it comes to wearing Fall clothes in the South, but it really isn’t cooler or more “Fall-like” until around November.
In the meantime, I will dress transitionally in Fall colors. Today I wanted to wear my white blazer, and then add this warm peachy floral blouse underneath. The colors of olive, deep purple and mustard add additional warmth to the pattern.
I am wearing my Rockstar jeans in a medium wash, from Old Navy. You can’t beat the price and comfort. One of the things I ask when buying jeans is, are they soft? I have AG denim which I love for that reason. I purchased a pair of Wit and Widsom, ( leggings) from Poshmark and am told they are quite soft. The off white croc patterned sandals still give a nod to summer.
I mentioned we had a nice weekend with live music at the vineyard and brunch outside on Sunday. We enjoyed the afternoon, walked around the empty city and just took in the skyline and day.
As a postnote, I have not had much luck recently with the Nordies sale, as everything on my wishlist was sold out. However, I did pick up a red wool coat from Mango and am will see how it fits. Where am I going is the question? I’ll probably wear it the following year or just want to wear it to take the dogs for a walk.. who knows?
