Turning Heads Linkup -Blazer and Jeans- Fall Colors

Happy Turning Heads Tuesday friends!

Thanks for being here.

How is your week going?

Today I wanted to style my second look with Fall colors. A kind of transitional look until we get into the real Fall weather.

Outfit and What’s Happening

Yesterday I added a bit of “pumpkin spice” to the blog this week! Not the coffee, but my outfit! The dress was pumpkin colored as the “spice” was the mix of patterns with my scarf, belt and bag. I am a bit impatient when it comes to wearing Fall clothes in the South, but it really isn’t cooler or more “Fall-like” until around November.

In the meantime, I will dress transitionally in Fall colors. Today I wanted to wear my white blazer, and then add this warm peachy floral blouse underneath. The colors of olive, deep purple and mustard add additional warmth to the pattern.

I am wearing my Rockstar jeans in a medium wash, from Old Navy. You can’t beat the price and comfort. One of the things I ask when buying jeans is, are they soft? I have AG denim which I love for that reason. I purchased a pair of Wit and Widsom, ( leggings) from Poshmark and am told they are quite soft. The off white croc patterned sandals still give a nod to summer.

I mentioned we had a nice weekend with live music at the vineyard and brunch outside on Sunday. We enjoyed the afternoon, walked around the empty city and just took in the skyline and day.

As a postnote, I have not had much luck recently with the Nordies sale, as everything on my wishlist was sold out. However, I did pick up a red wool coat from Mango and am will see how it fits. Where am I going is the question? I’ll probably wear it the following year or just want to wear it to take the dogs for a walk.. who knows?

Ooh, now you have me craving a pumpkin spice latte! I didn’t have much luck at the Nordstrom sale either, although I’ve noticed things are coming back into stock (assuming they’ve been returned). I might try again tomorrow!

Gorgeous colours! I love a classic jeans and blazer combination. I feel a bit in limbo season-wise – the temperature has dropped significantly over the last week or so here but I don’t feel ready to say goodbye to Summer just yet!

I love this outfit so much, Jess! I’m going to be on a hunt, now, for a similar top, handbag and earrings! Yeah, I completely bypassed the Nordie sale. That’s okay, there’ll be other sales!

The jeans looik great! I bought a pair of Daily Ritual jeans from Amazon and am very impressed! Taking inspiration from you and planning to visit a vineyard and picnic and listen to music and doing a little wine tasting for our anniversary this weekend. Hope the rain will be over by then. Hoping the weather cools off in September so I can transition to some fallish tops at least.

Fabulous outfit, my friend! It looks like we will be seeing some fall weather early this year. We are supposed to have a low temperature of 46 degrees tonight. I am usually ready for fall by the end of August, but not so much this year.

Very pretty outfit, Jess! You’re definitely making me think about fall the last couple of days. But like your area, fall doesn’t come to Las Vegas until November.

That top is so nice on you, you look great in autumn tones! I like the blazer and jeans combo too! Since I won’t be returning to the office any time soon I think that I need to start styling my blazers more casually like this! 🙂

Thanks for the link up 🙂

Hope you are having a nice week 🙂
