Good Morning!

I am sharing the last piece I received from the Caite and Kyla Spring 2021 line, and I am in love with this  Greer dress!

I talked to you about the Coastal winds yesterday and this Greer Dress from Caite and Kyla has me thinking about our upcoming beach vacation. The ocean winds and the movement of this dress strolling along the beach. Can you picture it?

It was a challenge this day to get pictures as the wind was blowing pretty fiercely this day. We just had to have patience, but it also did work to our advantage to show the movement of the dress 🙂

I love how this dress has a high- low hem, and flows so beautifully when you walk. The voluminous back of the dress floats away from the body, and really the polysilk is light as air! I will be taking this to the beach with me this summer!

It has beautiful colors of neutral camel, pine green, with tan embroidery at the chest area.

I have added my thick brown leather belt from Mango, to accent my waist and the shell necklace in dark brown also accents the neutral tones of the dress. The necklace is from Sylca, and I was gifted it years ago. The “beads” are actually shells. So, I think I have the beach on my mind! I love it both ways, belted and un belted, with it unbelted it is a bit more free flowing.

I love Caite and Kyla for their beautiful prints, light as air material ( polysilk) and their easy breezy effortless style. I see myself wearing it on the beach with white leggings from XCVI. 

I could also add a denim jacket over this look for added shape if it was chilly.

What’s Goin On?

Our pool actually opened up on the weekend. I do think it isn’t quite warm enough, but I will be going there to at least read and have a change in atmosphere. I have started The Four Winds, after my mom read it in 2 weeks. I am not that quick of a reader! It is really good so far.

We spent time at The Cottage my hubby and I , back to one of our favorite wine bar hangouts. 2 people came up to me, who I hadn’t seen in awhile, and gave me a hug, before I knew it. We were all vaccinated, but it did feel good.

Last week, my sister, mom, niece and I went for some “beautification ” 🙂 We all got our nails done, and mom and I got a pedicure, which was much needed, especially if I am showing close ups here of my feet/shoes! I chose OPI a lilac shade for my nails, and love it. A nice change of pace. I went earlier to get my eyebrows threaded, so they are back in control! We then had a lovely lunch together at the Spanish Tapas restaurant , Barcelona. Even before Covid, I loved to sit and dine outside.
