03 Sep Turning Heads Linkup – Casual Look with Fall Colors
Morning friends!
Since I don’t have my Fall weather exactly yet, what is another way to bring Fall into your wardrobe? Wearing Fall colors of course! Today I am sharing a casual look wearing two different pairs of shoes for a different look. Im incorporating some of my favorite Fall shades into this look- Olive and Grey.
Weekend
How are you, friends? I hope you enjoyed the Labor Day weekend. I mentioned we went to OMB Copper, one of the breweries here in town. Hubby is the beer lover. Me, no. I have tried to like beer, but that kind of defeats the point if you have to try to like it! I’ll stick to my wine.
Anyhow, we later went to another brewery just to talk, hang out and enjoy the atmosphere with the pups. Charlotte’s ASPCA was there and I made my way to pet each dog that was up for adoption. You see, I am drawn to pups like a magnet. I am the 12 yr old girl that approaches everyone to ask if she can pet your dog. I truly want to do something to volunteer in Dogland, but am not sure what I can do. I need to start my research. I told my hubby, if it was up to me, I probably would have taken all of the dogs home from yesterday’s visit.
Outfit
Anyhooo.. On to the outfit. It has been a tad bit cooler here in the South, but not cool enough for Fall clothes and that you still don’t see the beads of sweat running down your neck as your hair sticks to it. That heat is still there, and as much as I would like to “Wish it away”, it would get “colder here until November. So, I decided to wear Fall colors in today’s look. I bought this striped midi dress years ago at Target, and it is one of my favorites due to the comfort factor. I love the look of a long sleeveless midi dress with a long duster, so I reached for my olive ribbed duster from Anthropologie I bought last year on Poshmark. My Rebecca Minkoff bag in grey Fog would go nicely as well as my Andre Assous sandals that were gifted last year. I also love the look of a long necklace and olive drop earrings to continue the long line of the outfit.

Want to change it up a bit? Wear sneakers with that casual midi dress! I’ve been wanting the opportunity to wear my Converse Chucks and here it is. I decided to style it with sandals and then with the sneakers, giving off a more casual vibe.
My new neighbor’s dog, Daisy! She was so excited to see me.

It’s really hard to shoot wearing sweaters in 95 degree temperatures!
I apologize for not following your posts better. I have been swamped with work and the event that I really haven’t had time to be on Facebook or write a blog post.

Our weather has turned cooler and it definitely feels autumnal now. I’m not going to pack my Summer clothes away just yet though in case it turns warm again. Well, I can I hope!

It was hard to pick cause I wanted to bring them all home! There’s something missing in a home without a dog, you know?
