Hi friends!

I love a beret! After seeing berets on lots on different bloggers last year, I knew I should try one. That decision was solidified after I tried a cute red one on when we went to Francis Ford Coppola’s Vineyard. I could try on some of the props, and I went for the beret. Who doesn’t love to have fun with fashion and are tempted by hats?

I think it is one of those Winter hats that looks good on everyone. I  have a small head and an oval face, so not all hats look great, but this is fun and I think it works!

I bought this pink one on ASOS, as the soft rose pink would go well with my Boden vintage-inspired coat.  I have styled my grey jeans again, as yesterday’s post  I wore them with mustard yellow, ( read post) today would be a more common pairing with pink tones.

It was one of those days, pretty darn cold and windy! Typically, this is the spot to go. Hubby and I head to Birkdale, where another of our favorite wine bars resides, The Corkscrew. This location, on this bridge, is great for lighting. Funny thing, when we were done with taking photos, two other ladies began to take pictures there… it seems this place is not a local secret for blogging photoshoots anymore! 🙂 1

Coming up

I will be attending the Influencers of Midlife Conference in Atlanta this weekend! I am excited and looking forward to meeting Robin and Nina, along with other ladies that attend the conference. Lots of great topics in photography, blog posts, social media, health and more. I’ll be posting about this conference when I return.

    The pink and grey look so lovely together. Beautiful vintage-style coat! I have a couple of berets, they are so easy to wear and are good for travelling because they take up next to no room in a case. I hope you have a great time at the conference!

    I see you are using grey again, nice choice. The last few weeks I’ve been wearing pink myself and it seems like a good choice for this time of year. I hope you enjoy the conference. I used to wear berets back in the day–if I get back to a gold climate, I’ll get one, again!
