Morning Friends,

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I had my mind set that we could get some of the Christmas decorations up, as my niece would be helping with the Christmas tree. I also bought lighted garland for the banister with cranberries intersperced throughout with a large Christmas bow finishing the look. Yesterday, I styled a look for an office party or get together for the Holidays. I will be sharing more Holiday looks throughout the season.

Today, I decided to share my love of texture and color with a look for Fall.

By now, you know I am a Fall girl. I love the weather and dressing for Fall is very enjoyable to me as I can layer, mix colors and add textures to a look. Its just so fun! I began in my closet wanting to wear some dark Fall florals. I bought this bodycon dress several years ago on ASOS as the plums, navy and purples color scheme really appealed to me. I thought I would work within the plum family with this look and grabbed one of my favorite tweed jackets with a faux fur burgundy stole collar to pair with it. I bought this jacket probably about 6 years ago from Kohls and its still a favorite. My black clutch adds additional texture along with fishnet stockings and my plum suede booties.

Try mixing various textures with your Fall looks:

  1. Pair leather and lace for an eye catching look. I do so HERE.
  2. Tweed with plaid. Wear a colorful tweed blazer with a pair of checked pants.
  3. Faux fur is trending. Try adding a faux fur coat to a suede skirt and cashmere sweater.
