THT-The Color of the Year for Valentine’s Day
I mentioned yesterday, that I have been on the pink bandwagon lately. Vivid Magenta as the color of the year has me yearning for additional pieces for my wardrobe.
Do you think of tweed as a dressy fabric, to be paired with a tweed skirt in a Chanel-esque way? I am sharing how to style tweed in a casual modern way with denim and share some of the ways to wear tweed.
Morning Friends,I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. I had my mind set that we could get some of the Christmas decorations up, as my niece would be helping with the Christmas tree. I also bought lighted garland for the banister with cranberries intersperced throughout with a large Christmas bow finishing the look. Yesterday, I styled a look for an office party or get together for the Holidays. I will be sharing more Holiday looks throughout the season.Today, I decided to share my love of texture and color with a look for Fall.

Layered Look with Tweed/ Valentines Day Look
Hello Friends,How was your weekend? Ours was pretty low key, just doing some things around the house, hanging my dad's photography and trying to keep up with and get a jump on "spring cleaning"! Sundays I go to the gym and I having just got the "go ahead" to lift weights, seems that I went a bit too "gung ho" the last few times. I truly don't notice it at the time.. but 2 days later my shoulders are telling me to "cut it out!" Well, I live and learn.
Hello friends!I hope you all had a great weekend. Our weather here is so duplicitous! I talked about Pantone's Color of the Year HERE, last week, a bright green shade. I am wearing more green today, as I love so many shades of green and this is one of my favorite sweaters. I also enjoy wearing boots and think it is one of the most fun things about Winter, so I am taking advantage and wearing my Vera Wang leather OTK boots with my black tweed mini from Loft. Thus, one of my staple "Uniforms" for Fall-Winter.I love the details!...

Pattern Mixing-Florals and Plaid
Hello FriendsI hope you had a great weekend and are getting into the Spirit of Christmas even more. We took family photos and as I wrote on Facebook, I had to laugh at something that was said during the photoshoot. The pups were in their Santa Suits and we were dressed up using a tripod for photos. A grounds worker nearby said, " Are those real puppies? I thought they were stuffed animals they were sitting so still!" This cracked me up as I thought, Boy, that would be awfully weird for us to be taking pictures with stuffed animals! haha. Anyhow, they turned out great and will be fun to share. 
Hello friends! Hope you had a great weekend. I did early voting, so if you can, get out and vote. Hard to believe we are already in November and the Christmas commercials are playing on TV, all of the Holiday stockings and gift wrap etc, has been in stores for a bit now, and I start thinking about my holiday list for Gifts. Happy that I was able to pick up a couple in New Mexico, and will also be giving more "framed gifts" this year for family as well.
