25 Jun Turning Heads Linkup – Foxcroft Shirts for Summer
Morning Friends!
Thanks for coming to Turning Heads Tuesday! I am sharing with you today several shirts I chose from the Foxcroft NYC collection. When they contacted me, I was to choose a new arrival and a UPF Sun protection shirt. So, I chose the best of both worlds in both bright colors and white!
On the Homefront
Since Mom’s visit, we have planted some Knockout Roses, which were recommended by my Mother in Law. These are called “Double Knock out Roses” and they need less care than the traditional roses. No deadheading! We have mulched and cleared out two areas beside our deck in the backyard, and the one area will have these rose bushes, the other area I would like to plant a Korean Lilac and Azelea bushes. My mom is the pro when it comes to gardening and she has an amazing garden at her home in Pittsburgh. I would just love to have this little space of my own to enjoy the scent and sight of pretty flowers.
Foxcroft
You have been introduced to Foxcroft before on the blog, as I collaborated with them in the Fall on their non-wrinkle shirts.
Read the post HERE.
I also wrote a post about Foxcroft and the traditional shirtdress. Enjoy reading it HERE.
When I was looking through the site, I loved several styles and let’s face it, button-down shirts are always classic and in style!
Sun Protection UPF collection
The Reese wrinkle-free buffalo plaid UPF shirt caught my eye with the mix of bright and vibrant colors. I actually used to have a top in these colors when I was a teenager. The hot pink, mint, and coral are so lovely together, and the fact that the shirt protects you from the sun is such a special feature!
From the site, “Moisture-wicking, UPF 50+ fabric drapes into a flattering, relaxed fit that will keep you feeling cool and comfortable all summer long.”
The shirt is UPF 50+ certified, stretchy and light. I love that it wicks moisture so it keeps the sweat away on those hot days, while protecting you from the sun. Great for a summer vacation! It is nylon and spandex, so it is light and has enough stretch for comfort. Stylewise, I also love the rounded hem at the bottom making it a shirt you can either tuck in or leave out.
Do check out the UPF collection, as there are solids, stripes in both Women’s and Plus sizes.
New Arrivals
I just love white tops in the summer, so fresh and crisp, they can be worn with anything. Here I styled the same pair of denim shorts with a pair of Jambu crochet leather sandals and some simple gold jewelry. My white floral earrings add to the casual look.
This Pandora Palm Jacquard Tunic caught my eye as I love the ease of a white shirt in my closet, ( you need a few for Spring and Summer!) and the palm stitching is just beautiful. Shown with a cami on the website, I just chose a nude bra to wear underneath. It is personal preference, but I think either way works.
Cotton and linen are my favorite fabric choices in these hot summer months, and this tunic is made with 100% cotton.
I can see it worn many ways with a flowy skirt, light linen trousers, or shorts. White capris or light denim would look great as well.
This top comes in white and black.

Posted at 11:19h, 25 JuneI love both of those blouses, Jess. The plaid reminds me of one I had in high school and adored wearing. The white one is so pretty and such a nice change from the plain white button down. Both look so cute with your jean short. XOXO

Posted at 10:29h, 25 JuneBoth shirts are beautiful Jess! I love the subtle print of the white shirt but I am obsessed with the vibrant color of the Reese! I also appreciate that is wrinkle free and has sun protection. Much needed in the summer and what a great concept for those of us that forget to apply sunscreen! Love the roses you planted recently. They are pretty and the color is fun and perfect! I hope your week is going well so far and happy Tuesday!

Posted at 04:48h, 25 JuneBeautiful blouses! I love the bright colors just as much as I love the chic white tunic! The fabric sounds enticing – moisture wicking – yes! Even when I head outside for just a few short minutes to get THE MAIL I can feel perspiration droplets on my back! It is really that hot and humid here. Lovely styling too – those long legs of yours are perfect in those shorts!
Love the roses too – I am trying desperately to keep a few plants alive here but it is an uphill battle for sure!
