30 Aug Turning Heads #Linkup: Denim Trend Look 1- Kick Crops and New Jacquard Colorful Block Heels

Hello Ladies,.. Ive some trying times lately with muscle pain in my shoulders and arms and  hands with joint pain.. Not great for a blogger who likes to write! I need to let you all know something. I try to visit mostly everyone on linkup day: I do have to take breaks and it does take me about 4 + days to comment on everyone ; I love seeing your outfits and reading your posts.   I would love to visit you more during the week , on your blogs, just letting you all know! Today, however,  I am sharing with you an outfit I have wanted to put together for a bit. I know you are not used to seeing me in jeans, but I couldn’t resist the kick cropped style. I have seen it on many bloggers and love the raw edge and style, especially with a heel. I think the block  heel is the way to go for me, as with the pointed top and a bit of height, lengthens the leg, and gives me stability. Not that I will be able to walk around long in these, but when we go to eat, winebar, symphony etc, these will be great.  I also love a block heeled ankle boot with this style jean.  Soon, on the blog, I hope to do a series of posts on Denim trends for Fall and how I style each pair. I also will be sharing transitional outfits for Fall. ( several looks in one week)

I love the raw edge cut on these jeans! Seems waiting was a good thing, as I found these kick crops on H&M for $13.  I  have bought a few items for Fall, but it is a bit premature here, as I mentioned, the heat. So, I stuck with some basics and things I knew I wanted to add to my closet. ie. a few more pairs of denim, moto jackets and several pairs of shoes.  Speaking of shoes, these 1.5 inch green purple, and rose floral jacquard block heels caught my eye! I am a big fan of ASOS, and these were staring right back at me, waiting for me to hi” place order”.

This colorful floral necklace is from Zara, got it from hubby for my Bday! Green tank blouse from The Limited.

I love an all white look for summer, and neutrals, however, today I was due for some bright colors!
