Hello ladies!
Woot-Woot 2 more weeks until Christmas.
This is one of those shop your closet looks for the Holidays. All pieces are from my closet, or bought secondhand, and I enjoy putting things together that I already have for the Holidays. The new item I am wearing are the Kendra Scott gold earrings, they are so nice! I’ve created a gold and off white look today with a touch of leopard. The skirt is one of my favorites and has gold threading throughout. So, expect to see a few more Holiday looks as I love dressing up for this special Day.
Holiday Look
Do you go out and buy a new dress each year for Christmas or are you one to explore your closet for pieces you can put together? You know I love a bit of glitz and glam for the Holidays, and I may wear this outfit Christmas Eve and for Mass. I know, I know, you hear me go on about Poshmark. I bought this velvet blazer there and styled it with this look HERE. I loved the golden mustard color and new it would look lovely with my hair and with the existing pieces in my closet.
Gold Lace Necklace from Ann Taylor. I just love the mix of the golden mustard velvet with Gold accessories. Earrings from Kendra Scott. I am asking Santa for another pair, her jewelry, as you know is beautiful!
I need to add some camis to my closet, as this would also look great with a gold or cream camisole. I have plenty of blazers in my closet that would go nicely with a cami underneath. Instead, I wore a light cream colored sweater from Ann Taylor, another older piece from my closet.
Want to see some of my Holiday decor? Check our yesterday’s post, where I share some more of my past Holiday looks and how I am decorating the house.
LETS PARTY!! TURNING HEADS TUESDAY LINKUP- HAVE FUN AND LINKUP ANY BLOG OR INSTAGRAM POSTS. Thank you for your comments each week, they make my day!
Do you shop your closet for the Holdiays or look forward to buying a new dress?

December 11, 2018 at 6:39 pmI love your feminine combination of velvet and lace Jess, just so good for Christmas celebrations. Christmas dressing in Australia is a more casual affair as its mid Summer and often very warm. Many thanks for hosting.

December 11, 2018 at 6:22 pmLove the lush combination of textures in this outfit, Jess! I always start by shopping my own closet first. Even with a relatively small number of pieces, there are so many combinations to try! For Christmas Mass, I’m thinking about the navy dress I wore for our son’s October wedding with different jewelry…

December 11, 2018 at 7:04 amI love velvet during the holidays, but I really don’t have anything that works for the holidays. You’ve made me want to buy something velvet. That blazer is gorgeous Jess, especially with your hair. I know I go on and on about your hair, but it is such a beautiful color! Loving those leopard flats!!

December 11, 2018 at 6:19 amWhat a pretty outfit for the holidays! Those ruffles on your jacket are the prettiest and of course, that lace skirt is perfection. You look fantastic Jess! I like to shop my closet for the most part. We don’t really have a lot of holiday parties to go to and even my hubby’s work is super casual, they only do lunch for their employees. I hope you are having a great start to the week so far and happy Tuesday!
