12 May Turning Heads Linkup -Karina Dresses – The Abigial Dress in Waves
Well, I had planned this post for Friday, but everything has been a bit topsy-turvy with the way things are going in life. I am sharing a new print and cut from Karina Dresses today. I have been working with them for 3 years and am a big fan of their dresses and I will tell you why.
Mother’s Day Weekend
The weekend was quite chilly here and I finally got my Lou & Grey joggers, after 3 weeks. I mostly stayed cozy over the weekend, with the exception of dressing up for Mother’s Day.
Hubby and I work from home normally, so we sleep in until 9. I woke up early around 7, ( still not as early as when I used to teach and wake up at 5:30 am!) and got ready to get dressed for our Video Mother’s Day chat with my siblings and Mom. After a few technical difficulties, we all wished Mom a Happy Mother’s Day and chatted a bit together. It was a lot of fun. My brother played the video we made for Mother’s Day and my mom truly enjoyed it, as my sis and I got a bit teary- eyed. She loved the gifts and was wearing the Hakuna Matata shirt we sent. We are going to get together for a Happy Hour later this week.

Why Karina Dresses?
They have wonderful cuts and styles of dress for every body type and are great for travel or the office as well. They don’t wrinkle!
These dresses are great to improve your mood, with an easy knit fabric and comfortable style. One and done. Especially nowadays!
This longer midi style, the Abigail in Waves, is anew style and print from Karina Dresses. I added my turquoise earrings gifted from Chicos, my favorite sea- green metal bracelet gifted from Uncommon Goods, and a peach floral necklace, picking up the colors in the dress.
The neutral Chinese Laundry are worn once again to keep a neutral shoe, and my Zara bucket bag in off white is styled. as the rest of the look is colorful.
