Charming Charlie dress, earrings, Treesje leather clutch and Zara shoes
Happy #TurningheadsTuesday Everyone!
Yes it is orange again this week, however,I know you are not used to seeing me in a dress like this, which is precisely what made me interested ! I loved the shorter in the front, longer in the back lengths and deemed this my ” Mullet Dress”. I can only say that my brother was a “victim to the hairstyle in the 80s, but it looked good on him at the time!
This dress is so light, it feels like nothing is on, so airy and comfortable. The print looks almost Indian in its mixes of rust, orange, green, yellows and reds. I would have liked if it were truly a waistline instead of empire but I am used to it, after a few wears. I keep eyeing the knee length gladiator shoes and think they would work with this, certainly more casual, but fits the style. Some gorgeous colorful lace up heels we have seen many times would be so pretty, but I add some height with my Zara peep toe shoes.
Every now and then I am surprised by some of the stores and their inventory. This dress is from Charming Charlie as over Memorial Day I bought it for a mere $20. Granted, the material is thin, and it is not designer quality, but for a warm summer night out for a glass of wine, it would work well.
As you know, my love for well made lace, and florals are my favorites, and florals overwhelm my closet at the chosen pattern. I decided to go “out of my box” and try a new and interesting pattern and I do like the tie at the neck as well.
How about you, Are you adventurous at trying different patterns or styles? What have you purchased recently to the effect?

You have met my lovely co-host today, Casey of A Little Bit of Cheer, as she has hosted before and was kind to volunteer. I love the carefree style, effortless outfits she puts together, and the bright colors She has a section for creating wardrobes on her blog.. So, if my puppy Truffles could talk, she would say, Let’s give her a round of “A-Paws” for helping out today! Casey in her own words: …” I love red wine, writing, beautiful churches, the color pink, coffee, positive people, being outside, reality TV, spending time with my family and above all, I try to live my life through Christ’s example and count my blessings every single day. 🙂 ”
I also wanted to point out, after the initial Tuesday linkup, there seems to be quite a bit more ladies linking up Wednesday, Thursday and even Friday. If you can, come back and comment or check out a few of those blogs that show up then! I appreciate it!! I really want to THANK YOU all of helping this linkup along and making it grow!

Today, for the first lovely lady I bring you another favorite red-head of mine, Martina of Elegant 40, looks amazing in this vintage inspired look with pretty polka dots and pink skirt, love her hair up too! Retro-chic!
Second, trending now in this pretty floral dress, with lovely tones of browns and yellows, is Mis Pipelicos with her signature hairstyle. Lovely!
A Personal Favorite is Katie of Hello Katie Girl, as the skirt is so colorful, I love the greens, the object of it as artwork. Not to mention, the magenta LV Epi bag, what can I say! Love this look!
