Turning Heads #Linkup + Plaid Blazer +Giveaway reminder!

Happy #turningheadtuesday! Ladies

Glad to see you here. I had a good time going out with the pups and hubby , this week and we took photos, even though I thought I was going to be blown away! Who needs fans when the wind is blowing at 65 miles an hour! Well, my hair went  here, there and everywhere. The meal was so good though! It was great to get out and I enjoyed a Malbec with a delicious portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, pesto, and Guyere cheese sandwich on Chibatta bread. So.. tasty! I love my veggie sandwiches.! I had to laugh though as we were the only ones sitting outside with the dogs at 4:00 in the afternoon. I admit I am a wimp when it comes to wind and cold, but here in the South, it is nothing like my hometown of PA, so I dont complain!

Cheers! To a day out on the town! I loved this Anthropologie plaid jacket the moment I saw it  as the colors I knew were just me! THe camel navy and rust were so gorgeous and of course my eyes were drawn to the ruffles and the shape with the belt tied. I will get much wear out of this and will style this casually in the future. I paired it with one of my favorite rich rust colored faux leather skirts from Zara, and I continue to check the site weekly to see if others may show up. I love a rich colored pencil skirt for fall. I added the fabric brooch you have seen before, and those vintage boots that were a hit.

I enjoy wearing black, and the funny thing is that is all I wore in college, ( think: guitarist in blues band, who used to smoke Camels while playing as I guess I thought it was “cool” and my fiance-at -the-time who was another guitarist did so as well kind of girl. Black was my non-color of choice those days.) But now, I find I am drawn to colors that go well with my fair skin and red hair. Fall seems to be friendly for this type of complexion.
