Combat boots are still hot and I frankly have loved them for years. I do, however Like the more streamlined ones that aren't so big and chunky like a Doc Martin Style, and I am sharing these leather ones from Cecelia NY, gifted to me by Soft Surroundings.

Hello everyone,Since it took another 11 hours to come home from our visit, I put this together before we left, imagining I might need a few days to recover. Today I wanted to share with you some of my favorite styles from this past month of May. It is hard to believe it is June. I feel like this year is going by quickly. On to the fashion notes, there are some great trends I love right now: espadrilles, off the shoulder dresses and shirts, all of the new denim styles, ( kick crops and cullotes) I am still searching for.Presently, I am in love with all things white, especially for the warm weather, as impractical as it may be some times. Jumpsuits and jumpers are on trend right now, and I will be sharing some jumper looks ( short jumpers) and dressing up the look. Today I am sharing looks that involve floral, off the shoulder, classic black white and red pairings, and military looks. I do love a romantic feminine style, but this takes on many looks.

Welcome to another weekly edition of Turning Heads Tuesday!!!Today I thought I would try something a bit different. I asked Santa for this poncho first of all. When I opened the box this thick, geometric, super soft, poncho is in the shape of a giant square. I am not used to this! I like my clothes mainly fitted to my shape, so this is new territory. I love the way they look on others, so I thought, " Take a risk, why not?" If it doesn't work out, I can blame it on Santa!

Who needs fans when the wind is blowing at 65 miles an hour! Well, my hair went here, there and everywhere. The meal was so good though! It was great to get out and I enjoyed a Malbec with a delicious portobello mushroom, roasted red pepper, pesto,and Guyere cheese sandwich on Chibatta bread. So.. tasty! I love my veggie sandwiches.! I had to laugh though as we were the only ones sitting outside with the dogs at 4:00 in the afternoon. I admit I am a wimp when it comes to wind and cold, but here in the South, it is nothing like my hometown of PA, so I dont complain!

Hello Ladies!I began to create a monochromatic look today, inspired by burgundy or wine shades, but then thought of the color combination I liked together, navy and burgundy.
