Happy Turning Heads Tuesday!

Well, it seems I took Labor Day quite literally and had a day of cleaning the house. It’s ok, just had to be done!

Its one of those staples that I love to wear. It took me over a year  to find a jean skirt I loved. I’m picky! I also wanted one to the knee and loved this sort of retro button down the front style. Because it is too hot right now for jeans, I chose the next best thing.,

My Outfit

Jean skirts are a great year round piece that goes with everything, just like your trusty denim. I look forward to pairing this with a moto jacket and booties.. or a long cardigan!

I love the buttons down the front,  kind of retro vibe. This LOFT skirt is very soft and so comfy to wear.

This top is one many Poshmark deals from Anthropologie. I love the caged style as the shoulder and the blue/green pattern. When I shop on Poshmark, I tend to make it easier by searching specific items with brands I love.  i love the uniqueness and style of Anthropologie, so I will use my filters for size ( XS/ S) and search “tops”. This way, I am not seeing too much, and I can browse through the tops in my size from this Brand. It really is so fun finding the deals and my money goes far when i shop these thrifting sites.

I am wearing my Jambu Rio sandals in taupe and love the cushioned footbed with memory foam. I love it when i am out and about and ladies ask me about my Jambu shoes!  Keep an eye out for the Fall months when I will be showing you some new Fall styles!

Location

This area of Charlotte, is North Charlotte, Cornelius. Only a short drive to one of our favorite hangouts, Cork and Cask. One of the owners is from The Burg, it really is funny how many people we run into that are from or were from Pittsburgh! Another pup friendly place, we scoped out this pretty fountain with surrounding pink flowers. We often do photo shoots, go to lunch, and take the puppies for a walk ( with a change of clothes) as we have many Greenways in our area to enjoy. With the brown leaves at my feet, I am hoping this is a sign of things soon to come!

I find this time of year a bit challenging for fashion blogging, as you want to show transitional or Fall looks, but it is still 90 degrees in NC!

How do other Southern girls deal with this?

One of my favorite pairs of Jambu shoes. The memory foam footbed can’t be beat! More on Jambu in the Fall! 🙂

And I just scored this Anthropologie Pilco Denim Jacket from Poshmark for $60 that I look forward to wearing or would wear with this look as it gets chillier outside. It’ll be coming soon.. 🙂
