07 Jun Turning Heads #linkup -Rust Maxi Off The Shoulder Dress with Metallics
Hello Ladies!
Glad you are here for Turning Heads Tuesday. Another hot day! I am not complaining, but maybe I need to do a “How to Make Pictures Look Great Even with Sweat Pouring Down Your Back” Post! That is not me today, but I am just preparing for the summer to come. Ha! Today was another score from H&M. They do have some fun fashions this year, and I couldn’t resist the rust color. Ok, that and the off the shoulder fashion. And the two slits in the front to add some sexiness and self-imposed air conditioning. I bought this during the Memorial Day weekend sales for $30 shipped.
I do like metallics especially with ” safari colors” .. Not the proper term.. But olives, tans, camel, and in this case, rust. There are plenty of other ways to incorporate this trend, but find it appealing here, with a mix of bronze with my Sylca beaded necklace and earrings. I also wanted to add the tan/camel tones of my favorite fringe sandals, which are getting a lot of wear this season, and the leopard clutch, another staple to my wardrobe.
The over the shoulder trend is one I am fond of. I think it adds some sexiness to a summer top or dress, without being overtly so. So, the combination of off the shoulder, rust color and the fact that it was a maxi dress made it a no brainer for me, when it came to purchasing!
