Turning Heads Linkup – The Chai Boot from Jambu

Morning friends

Back to the “real world” after an amazing trip! I did mention, in my first post, San Fransisco Trip Diary, that I wore my Jambu Rimini booties everywhere on our trip. We walked. And Walked. They kept me stylish and comfortable all day and are so easy to wear.  Today, I am sharing you these luscious leather boots called The Chai from Jambu. They may look familiar to you, as I was gifted this boot in the whiskey shade last year and chose the black this time. Everyone needs a great pair of knee high boots that are comfortable and stylish. TAKE 20% off any Jambu purchase using code EDS18.

The Chai Boots by Jambu

Who likes their Chai? Yes me and me. I love Chai tea.a type of Indian tea, made especially by boiling the tea leaves with milk, sugar, and cardamom. AND I love my Chai boots in both whiskey and black. 🙂

In last year’s post – The Chai Boots by Jambu, I wore another of my lace skirts with some fun faux fur. and my CHAI boots in Whiskey.  I loved these boots so much, when I had the chance to have them send me another pair, I jumped at the black pair. This is one staple women can have in their closet that they will reach for time and again, and the leather on this is so soft and gorgeous.

The CHAI boot does come in whiskey and also comes in wide calf as well.

The memory foam and premium leather make these boots comfortable and stylish. As I mentioned I wore my other Jambu booties for the whole trip to SF and Wine Country. The outsole is all-terrain, so you wont slip. These are the most comfortable boots for women!

The CHAI is water resistant . Here are the features:

  • Full grain tumble leather
  • SATRA (the independent testing organization and technical authority for footwear and leather) certified water resistant
  • Partially recycled rubber All-Terra outsole
  • Memory foam footbed
  • Side zipper
  • Heel Height: 2.16 in heel with a 1/2 in platform
  • Shaft: 14.37 in
  • Circumference: measures 13 3/4″ around the widest part of the calf

My Outfit

I was in the mood for a camel and black combination. I wanted some texture and print as well. I added just a bit of color with my burgundy flower brooch, but if you were looking for more, you could add a richer color for your bag or jewelry. I just kept it simple. It wasn’t cold enough to add another layer, but if I were, I would have worn my burgundy wrap coat from Banana Republic, seen HERE.

I have had these pieces for years- nothing like finding new combinations in my own closet, so fun!

The leopard shrug is from Banana Republic via Poshmark, and I styled it over an Ann Taylor camel cashmere sweater ( also Poshmark). For texture, I took out one of my favorite lace skirts, with a vintage vibe and scalloped trim. Textured black lace tights also add interest, and I am sure you noticed I have been a fan of colored and textured tights for years! I love how they can take a simple outfit and elevate it . My fillagree lacy metal necklace is also Ann Taylor and bought through Poshmark. Do you see a theme? :_)

Ill be wearing these comfortable boots throughout the season into winter, as they go with everything! Skinny jeans, skirts, dresses, you can’t beat the versatility of a black boot. I’ve been a little boots and booties crazy this year, but who doesn’t love wearing boots?

I

Ive styled this outfit with lots of texture and neutral tones. I love color so if I wanted to add some, I could easily change my bag.. Hoping Santa might help me out … ( looking for a red bag)

I really love wearing a tall boot in the winter. It’s typically rainy or messy here, so I like how a tall boot not only keeps me warm, but dry! I love your pair and it’s styled so beautifully with leopard!

Yikes! Where to start? Of course, the leopard/lace combination is superb. Love how you have a lacy necklace and stockings to complement the skirt. Brilliant. The bag and boots are gorgeous!

I really love the height of those boots. You get the aesthetic kick of a heel without the perilous height.

I always love camel with black, especially for Fall. Love all the rich textures here. Your skirt, filigree necklace and new black leather boots are all gorgeous. I need some simple, classic, tall black leather boots like yours. And I feel you: I have been boots/booties obsessed these last couple of years. Will be sharing a new pair on this week’s Thursday Moda post, plus I shared some new sueded booties in my special Holiday Collaboration post, today. Come take a peak! =)

You had me at water resistant! Hehe It doesn’t rain much where we live and I have never found a reason to buy rain boots. Of course, when it does rain then I kick myself for not buying one. This pair is perfect because it’s not only water resistant but it’s a beautiful leather boots! How amazing! Love your entire outfit and you hit it on the nail regarding textures and playing with patterns. Happy Tuesday!
