Oh, the sheer nerve of her!

What are these ladies talking about? Could it be that I dared to wear white jeans after Labor Day!

Gasp! Such sacrilege!

My Outfit

One of these days we won’t hear about it being a “thing” anymore. A fashion Faux Paux.

Wearing white year round can be so fresh and certainly beautiful with monochromatic looks of varying shades of white.

Eggshell, cream, off-white, stark white. You can mix these babies!

I always think a soft cream turtleneck sweater paired with white jeans and neutral accessories looks so classy! I will be sharing different ways to style them in the Fall and Winter.

Besides, where are the “Fashion police” anyway. Fashion is an art of expression, and I feel we should wear what we like. ( unless it hurts someone of is damaging in any way.)

Today I am wearing some basic pieces that I absolutely love. When I looked in my closet, I made a note of what I could add in several other colors. Lots of ladies do this. Find one piece you love- for example this silk Equipment blouse in leopard, and buy it in multiple prints or neutral colors. These will act as layers you will wear, mix, time and again. I like to look at Poshmark or sales for silk blouses to wear under jackets, blazers, paired with trousers, pencil skirts or elevating denim.

I am wearing Levi Denizen jeans, and I love these white jeans for the stretch and comfort, as well as the slim leg.

My Marc Fisher croc textured block heels add to the look, and of course I had to take out my gifted Teddy Black structured bag, as I love the rich red with leopard. One of my favorite combinations!

Since leopard is considered a “neutral” like I explained in this post ( with Camo), you could pair any color bag/ jewelry/scarf, with this look.

Happenings

I hope you had a great Labor Day weekend! I did some shopping in Madewell ( first time in there) and I’ll share what I got on the blog at a later time. Had lunch out, went to a new Sephora that opened near my home and bought a Charlotte Tillbury lipstick. I love the colors! Sunday we went to the lake and I paddle boarded while hubby kayaked.

One of my readers, Wendy, suggested that I have the pups in a photoshoot. So, here are my buddies posing for the camera!
