Wearing Franne Golde to a Night with To Kill A Mockingbird

Today I am sharing a Franne Golde outfit I wore for a night to see To Kill a Mockingbird.

Wearing Franne Golde to A Night at To Kill a Mockingbird

One of the most outstanding plays that I witnessed a few weeks ago, was To Kill a Mockingbird. A memory of a high school novel I had to read, I only remembered a bit of the story. One of the quotes surely stood out to me, however,

“You never really understand a person until you consider things from his point of view. … Until you climb inside of his skin and walk around in it.”

We can sit and let that simmer for a while.

Judgement does not come as easy, if you were to see other people’s point of view, and where they are coming from. It is important to put ourselves in one’s shoes and think about how one might feel if given a certain situation.

A play with lessons, and tough subjects, we had a great time seeing it a few weeks ago, with Mom in tow until she goes back to Pittsburgh.

I mentioned, Richard “John Boy” Thomas played Atticus Finch, a lawyer in a small town of Maycomb, Alabama.

If you hadn’t read the story or seen the play, it is one to absorb.

Before we went to the play, we went to our favorite Italian wine and tapas bar, Chichettis, where the owner hugs us, as we have been there ( a few times 😉 ) before!

Il cibo e excellente e il vino perfetto!

What I Wore to the Play

Elegance and style took center stage with another color in Franne Golde’s line of easy wearing, flowy dresses. I wore this combination in coral before, and now, for the night out wore the Santorini dress and Riviera Wrap in this wonderful turquoise color. It comes in several other shades as well and will be perfect for a night out in Sorrento, with the wrap keeping any chill at bay.  I have shared in a reel, how to style the Riviera wrap 4 different ways, HERE.

Here is the other FRANNE GOLDE post, and I have one more to share.

If you missed my REEL, the night of the play, have a look.

The fabric is light, wrinkle-free, and so stunning.

For size reference, I am 5 foot 9, 121 pounds, and I am wearing an XS in the dress, one size fits all with the wrap. I would just advise looking at the size chart.

Which color of the Santorini Dress and Riviera wrap would you choose? Where would you wear it?

What a grand evening!! I had such a crush on John Boy. Be still my heart. And to see him all grown up (and beyond) in “To Kill a Mockingbird” would be quite an experience. I read the book for school, I think, too. And I liked it. Have seen the movie, too. Really liked Gregory Peck in the lead but would probably like Richard Thomas just as well.

You look so pretty in that blue. What a comfortably chic look for a big evening out. Lots of times I start out comfortable in a certain outfit, or pair of shoes, but after a couple of hours, something starts hurting…usually my feet!! While your dress in that great shade of blue is gorgeous, I would lean toward the green or the coral. Have a slip dress in coral that I love.
