23 Mar White blazer with denim for Spring

Hello friends,

I hope everyone is doing well and is keeping calm through this tough time. I choose to keep the blog going as I enjoy writing ,it gives me a distraction, and I hope it is a wonderful escape for you as well.  Blazers are big for Spring and I have always been a blazer girl. I’ve put together a comfy yet stylish look wearing a white blazer and jeans for Spring even though you currently may be in a robe or athleisure wear at home at the moment.

Homebound

Are you keeping busy? I wonder about how people are adjusting to working from home. I am used to writing from home and am trying to keep my cool. I do think my anxiety has increased lately, so I am trying to do things that help with that. If you are looking for things to do at home, I wrote about it on Friday. I hope this helps. For me, I need this outlet.  When things around us are “out ofour control” we can try and think of ways in which we are in control, and creating content for the blog is one of them.

This has affected my health in terms of not being able to get dry needling. This is the one thing that helps lower my pain levels, so I don’t know when I will be able to get it done again. Now, that leaves me a bit anxious. I have a cupping kit at home, and my hubby can help there, but it isn’t the same as dry needling. I am also going down on my pain medication, not the best timing!

Outfit

Think of this as an outfit for the future. Maybe you would like to see some athleisure wear since we are mostly self-isolating and are in our homes. I will prepare a post for that.

Today I styled a look with punches of light, Springy colors with a white dotted chiffon blouse under a white blazer. I have had this blazer for a few years as I bought it thrifting on Poshmark. I wanted a slightly longer one so I purchased this one on Nordies to wear as well.

The dark stretchy jeans are Denizen by Levi and they are soft and comfortable. Target sells this brand and many bloggers gave them a go when they first came out. I am wearing my usual size 4 in the jeans.

The sheer dotted white blouse is worn underneath the blazer, and I am wearing this SKIMS nude bra underneath. Read about The Right Foundation Under Your Clothes. If your blouses are on the sheer size, I suggest a nude bra, as it won’t see through.

I’ve rearranged my shoes and put the Fall/Winter shoes and boots in several bins and was excited to take out the Spring shoes. I am wearing a peachy pink pair of block heels from ASOS I bought a few years ago.

The floral hand made cluster earrings are making their appearance for the second time on the blog. They were gifted to me by Diana Furgeson. I needed a print and color added to this look. READ POST HERE
