Why Everyone’s Still Loving Cuffed Denim This Year

Cuffed denim. Barrel Jeans. Wide legs. These are all popular styles of denim this year, and I have styled some cuffed denim for you. This is just another way to give you an outfit inspiration. You can see how the formula of great 3rd piece, new shoes ( or just fancy shoes) and the jeans make a look.

Cuffed Denim

I shared this pair of cuffed denim in a prior post and i am here to give you another look with those jeans. These Evereve jeans are so soft to the touch, and have a sewn cuff. I prefer this as then the cuff doesn’t get loose or you have to cuff it just right and make sure its even.

Why buy cuffed denim? It is a change from your usual straight jeans or full length pair. To me there is a bit of a retro vibe but some reasons ladies love them are these:

  • Showcasing the shoes! Whether it is a new boot, flar or heel, they will be shown with the jeans cuffed this way.
  • Proportions- The cuff does cut off the leg line making it a bit shorter, and for some that works with their proportions. ( i.e. short waisted)
  • Fun change of style. If you are in a style rut, and you want to try something trending, cuffed jeans will qualify~
  • You can dress them up or down. Wear some fun red heels and a beaded or sequined top for the Holidays.  Dress it down with simple flats and a pretty sweater. Which ever way you choose!

Here I am wearing an H&M cardigan paired with a silk leopard scarf, a pair of Patricia Green’s leopard loafers and then keeping with the warm colors, my burgundy Teddy Blake bag. My cuffed denim are from Evereve, and I took my normal size 27 in them. They are on SALE!

My CODE for Patricia Green is ELEGANTLYDRESSEDANDSTYLISH.

What’s Going On?

This weekend I worked at the shelter, and the past several weeks we have helped my mom move. Oh it is a chore and a half! Talk about stress! So, she has all of her items in her place, just some need unboxing. Movers finally were there after 2 weeks. In the meantime, she stayed with us and last night we went out to celebrate her moving here at 131 Main, and amazing restaurant nearby.

Today, also is my Dad’s birthday. I miss him. My mom is astonished at how many things I remember with dad and me being a kid. Last night we played “The Clancey Brothers” in honor of him, and I know the songs all these years later!

I would also like to hear from you, dear readers, and let me know if you are still interested in reading a blog. Many of my friends have moved over to Instagram, but I would like to keep blogging. Depending on “life”, that is what will determine what days. I may switch to Monday, Wednesday with the occasional Friday. Two days seems more doable. I have stopped the Turning Heads Linkup, as many were not participating in link-ups anymore and I have hosted for 8 years.

Have a wonderful day! We are working today to get the Christmas tree decorated!

I like that I already had a pair of cuffed denim (that I had cuffed under and used fabric glue on) so I was able to take off the glue dots and turn them back into cuffed jeans!

I think you look stunning in these cuffed jeans. I have such short legs so that cuff just makes them look shorter. Please, please, please keep blogging. I know it’s so much easier to post on Instagram and be done, but I love reading blogs and getting to know the person behind the blog. I also know Instagram is where the money is these days. Just wanted you to know I’d hate to see you quit blogging!
