Yellow and White for a Sunny Spring Look

Yellow and white outfit for Spring

A bit of sunshine in an outfit today for you ladies!

A mix of yellow and white is a Spring combination that just ushers in the sun. Doesn’t it?

My Outfit

As you know from reading, yellow is the color of the year, along with grey. We just had our Master bath painted a medium grey and here I am now in a yellow outfit. All done with such foresight! LOL.

I had bought this yellow and white print button down blouse from Ann Taylor last year, and didn’t get the chance to wear it until now.

The cardigan was just right for the weather we have had lately, a bit chilly. This week however, we have sunshine and 70s!

White jeans are a favorite year round and I love these skinny jeans from Levi ( Denizen) they have enough stretch but don’t stretch out.

These Kendra Scott dangling leaf earrings are mother of pearl and among my favorites, I do wear them often in the Spring/Summer.

Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter! My mom and I watched Mass streaming in the morning, and planned a tasty Easter dinner with my sister and niece coming over. My sister and mom have  been completely vaccinated and we get the second shot on April 8th. We used to have ham and perogies, along with Paska bread ( a Ukrainian egg bread) and other vegetables. We decided to mix it up this year and went to Fresh Market for Pecan Encrusted Trout, perogies, asparagus.

I wrote last Friday about the Easter Ukrainian  tradition we used to celebrate as we grew up.

Such a bright, cheerful outfit! I have one yellow shirt in my closet. I don’t wear it too often, but it always puts me in a better mood when I do.

So glad you had a nice Easter! That trout sounds amazing.

What a lovely Easter outfit. I just adore that shade of yellow on you. We have had lovely temperatures here recently, but there is a biting North wind today.
