06 Oct A Touch of Burgundy

Happy Monday Ladies,

Hope everyone had a great weekend. This was the first time in 2.5 weeks I was able to go out for a glass of vino. Long story, but I am back on the mend. I thought I would take the classic combo of cream and black and add in just a “touch of burgundy’.

I am and always have been a big fan of the wine color family. Y’al know I am a big fan of wine, but we are talking about fashion here! Looking through fashion magazines and keeping up with trends, Burgundy is one of the hottest colors of the fall season. It was a beautiful day here in Charlotte, with the temp around 73 and the sun out.

I could wear burgundy everyday, I have always been a fan. For this outfit, I decided to just add touches of burgundy to add some “pop” to the cream and black ensemble I styled together. Over the past 3 months or so, I have acquired some new shoes, both flats and kitten heels. For me, it has been exciting to buy shoes, even with a one inch heel, as I used to have to wear sneakers due to my EDS. So this is a step forward!!

I didn’t make it to Target for the designer Alaturra, and everything sold out immediately, but I bought this scroll skirt and peplum top there, they have some cute items at times. I am a real fan of the colors that are being shown for fall, rich browns, grey, emerald, burgundy, are all favorites of mine.
