I’ve introduced you to Caite and Kyla many times on the blog, and today I am styling this colorful blouse with white denim.

I am itching for Spring, as I am just more of a warm weather girl than a cold  one. Spring, this year, has a variety of bright colors in the mix at retailers, and I just loved the color palette here in this beautiful, embroidered top from Caite and Kyla.

This top, and its embroidery, would also pair wonderfully with a pair of trousers, or especially a lighter wash jean for the Spring. I love either a straight leg or wide leg for a modern touch and a change from skinny jeans. The white denim here , just makes the colors pop even more, and I am giving a little nod to Spring here as well.

I added my Anthropologie vegan moto in a tealish blue color to add that third piece to the look, and to frankly stay warm!

This beautiful silky blouse would also look great with a denim skirt.

It was time for my white boots to make an appearance as well. They are more off-white, but will go with the brighter white of the jeans nonetheless.

What’s Going On?

We enjoyed an evening out with my friend, at Barcelonas, an amazing Spanish tapas bar. I love getting the small plate and trying a bit of different things. And the wine snob in me gives the places offerings a thumbs up! I usually go for a Cabernet, but their Garnache is delicious as well. I take my pudendal cushion wherever I go, so I had to sit on that and get up from time to time.

My Mom is leaving to go back to Pittsburgh, at the end of February so it was brunch time Sunday morning, at On the Nines. A country -club, their brunch is fantastic as is their Bloody Marys. Let’s just say I ate well this weekend!

I’ve been doing a little selling on Poshmark, and a little buying, as well as from a few retailers lately. We are working on getting a new organizer/shelves for my closet, and if I buy an item, I need to sell or donate an item. (my own rule). I also bought from & Other Stories online, so I’ll share those purchase with you. They have some great pieces!
