05 May Corkscrew wine bar and bright colors
You may notice a small theme here this week. Have you guessed by now, my hubby and I like wine. Sip, swirl, sniff, … I can tell you the notes on a music page but when it comes to wine, I haven’t mastered that skill yet. I love it when someone says ” Hints of toasted marshmellow”, ” Dried cherries”… etc. I can taste a clean taste, a fruity or spicy but nailing it down to the specific “note”, not so good. But hey, it is all in good fun. I never get THAT serious. I love my wine, ( 1-2 glasses) but other than smooth, fruity or the like, that is about it. Do you? Are you a conosuier?
So, we went to Corkscrew Wine Bar, had a bottle to share, spent the afternoon talking, and having our pups get petted by every child that came by. Hummus, nuts, cheeses, and snacks were the small appetizers we had with our wine, then my husband and I looked for a good spot to shoot pics. No pick up lines by much older gentlemen today:-) I decided to wear my mom’s choice for my skirt, the Ann Taylor Ebay find, a white pencil skirt with more florals I can’t resist. This time, a chartruese cardigan picked up the detail in the skirt. A pale yellow and gold earring set complimented the outfit, as well as a neutral necklace. I may change my nails soon, but I have been in the mood for orchids, pinks, and blue shades.
