Fall Combination- Olive and Burgundy- New Sleek Leather Boots

Hello friends,

Being a Fashion Fall fan, I love combining different colors for Fall outfits. Today, I am sharing an olive and burgundy look with texture making it more appealing to the eye.

photo from the Inez website.

Wearing Olive Green and Burgundy

I know my posting hasn’t been regular. I have been more consistent on Instagram, if you are interested in following me.

Lot’s of family health issues and being busy with a Gala for the shelter too.

I just received this gorgeous leather boots, gifted by Inez. The Spanish company creates beautiful, well made, luxurious shoes and these boots are an example.

Enough room in the toe area, and having a block heel, these have a comfortable footbed, and are quite comfortable to walk in. I love the burgundy color, the shape of the boot ( not a stilleto!) and how I can pair it with many looks this Fall. It also comes in black if you want a wear-with-all boot for the season. The PAZ70 has a proprietary insole for comfort and cushion .

This cropped, raw hem olive pair of jeans from Mango, is the perfect jean to pair with these boots. The leg line continues with the shorter inseam, as the boot is slightly higher bootie. The leather is beautiful, and burgundy is a shade that goes with so many rich looks for the Fall. Chocolate brown, olive, mustard, navy, are just a few that would mix with this shade.

I bought the J Crew lace top new from Poshmark, as I love to do secondhand shopping, and find that it is perfect in this economical climate.

The suede moto jacket is years old, and the texture from the lace and the croc Teddy Blake bag makes it even more eye catching. This  Fall combination creates a comforting and elevated rich look. To tone down the colors, add a neutral like camel or cream.

I posted another pair of boots from this company last year. HERE is the post.

What’s Happening?

Every time I write that, I think of that show in the 90’s!

I’ve been quite busy with the shelter, going at least 2 times a week, and recently participating in a Gala to benefit the shelter, A Night for Paws. In charge of the Wine Pull, people would pick a number from a bowl and I would give them the corresponding wine bottle It was $40 and you could receive a wine anywhere from $30-$150. All the proceeds go to the shelter, so its a win-win either way. I did a wine pull myself, and ended up with a bottle of Gruener Vetliner, a popular German white wine. Dry, not sweet.  3 Dogs were adopted this week as well, and as much as I love that, I will miss them! You do bond with the dogs and of course, have your favorites.

Otherwise, I have been going to the gym, continually motivated by my desire to stay fit and increase strength. So important as we get older, I tried those ropes for the first time, they are a challenge!

Guitar teaching is going well, and between the shelter, the gym, teaching guitar and working on social media posts, I stay busy. I’m also popping over to my mother’s apartment to get all of the small stuff and organize before she officially is out of there and all of it goes to my sisters.

Have you visited INEZ’s website and checked out their Fall collection of shoes? Have you tried this combination of olive and burgundy?

Let me know in the comments.

Have a nice weekend!
Jess xx

What a gorgeous olive + burgundy fall combo! 🍂 Your boots look luxurious and the textures throughout the outfit are so well balanced. That croc bag + suede jacket + raw‑hem jeans combo is giving subtle elegance without overdoing it.

Quick question — how do you keep your boots looking fresh (especially leather ones) through rainy or muddy weather?

Thanks for the style inspo — loving this look!

These colours are beautiful together! I love your boots, they look such good quality. I can imagine how attached you get to the dogs. I love cats but I don’t think I could volunteer at a rescue because I’d want to adopt them all! At least when I volunteered at the wildlife hospital that wasn’t an option – I couldn’t take a badger or a fox home!

Olive and burgundy is a such a beautiful combination! Those boots look so buttery soft! I love that suede jacket. I am feeling all kinds of ways about suede this year. You are definitely keeping busy. Hurray for the Gala making money and pups being adopted!

I’ve been seeing Inez boots on Instagram – they look gorgeous, especially in burgundy. Love how you paired it with olive pants – such a classic fall combo!
