Hello Ladies,

I hope you had a great weekend! We spent most of it out with the pups, enjoying lunch and going to a music, food and arts festival during the weekend.

We did this photo shoot at Birkdale, a shopping and food center near our house. I call it ‘Barkdale’ as it is very dog friendly!  Today I am talking about RED, a popular trending color for Fall, and how i styled it.

 

I bought this dress from ZARA last year, as i loved the richer shade of red and the ruffles on the front of the dress. This would make a great date night dress if i dressed it up with tights and booties for Fall. I love these booties that i shared with you on Friday’s post with this look, adding pattern and texture.

I have to say red is one of my favorite colors and I am a big fan of jewel tones as well and have a fair share in my closet. Red is a statement color, makes a statement! If you like to keep up with trends, this is one that is going to show in stores and already is being seen at retailers for Fall. If you aren’t one to wear red as a dress or outfit perhaps add a touch of red with your lip color, earrings, or shoes.

Last week I shared a monochromatic outfit in olive and broke up the color with a brocade bag and statement necklace. Today, I wanted to wear all red and add that pop! with a leopard clutch. Red and leopard is another favorite combination of mine.

    Jess, that is a gorgeous color on you. Such a rich shade of red. And leopard print is so classic to pair with it. I love how the ruffle on the neckline is repeated, creating that flirty little peplum over the skirt. And your jewelry is stunning as usual!

    Gorgeous dress! I love the ruffles and the deep red shade that compliments the leopard print so well. The shoes are fab – a great alternative to lace up ballet flats that don’t give enough arch support for me. I’m very pleased to see red trending this A/W as it’s my favourite colour 🙂

      Thank you Emma! I loved the dark red as soon as i saw it on Zara. I have always loved red and am adding more to my closet. You would like these shoes, as i have a few of the lace up flats and i have to put orthotics in them as there isn’t much support! xx
