Pantone’s Color Worn for New York Fashion Week

IMG_8811 IMG_8838

As I sit completely exhausted from a wonderful yet tiring trip, I am at the airport on a delayed flight waiting to go home and see the puppies. Lots to tell! SHows outfits experiences, but today I am going to start with the color choice of the first outfit I wore to #NYFW- Pantone’s Pine Green!

First, I wanted to thank you for being supportive of my trip and I appreciated that you enjoyed some of the photos I have shared on social media.

I wanted to wear this newly purchased pine green leather pencil skirt with a monochromatic look complete with texture with my moc croc  JJWINTER’s clutch in black, and my lace peplum top in the same shade from Zara.  Dressing it up even more was my layered jeweled black necklace, also from Zara.  Generally, heels are not my friend, but  wearing them with this outfit, these Coach  kitten heels seemed to go nicely as a romantic look complete with bow on patent shoes.

As I gazed at the city’s skyline, being so close to Sept 11th when we arrived I could only think of that day and those people who lost loved ones.

I then admired the 2 beams of light that shone from the World Trade Center  that night . The city is busy, with a sensory overload of sights, sounds and smells. There is so much going on! These pics were taken in Jersey City, where this iconic view could be seen.

I was quite excited for the night which would be an #INC30 event sponsored by Macys and hosted by Heidi Klum and Gabriel Aubrey. Oooh lala! ( I wore a dress that I picked out 3 months ahead!)  More on that later in the blog. It was a grey and windy day, but we managed to get detail of this look that I would later wear with knee-high black boots and accessorize a bit different

I will tell you much more about the week as this week goes on. It is after 11pm, and I am home finally after a flight delay and picking up my beloved puppies. As much as I walked, and did, I am quite exhausted but look forward to sharing more with you this week!

PLEASE JOIN ME FOR A FUN AND EXCITING DAY TOMORROW AT TURNING HEADS TUESDAY,  where I will give you more detail on my first event and the outfit I wore, etc etc.

As you know I love green, and most redheads find it appeals to them, works with one’s skin tone etc, and this color which is shown this Fall 2015 as one of the hottest colors and Pantone’s one of several green shades this season

Details: Lace Peplum Zara, Pine Green Leather Pencil Skirt: Ann Taylor, Coach Heels ( Mandy), J J Winters Clutch

HOPE TO SEE YOU TOMORROW FOR TURNING HEADS TUESDAY AND TELL YOU ABOUT THE EXCITEMENT OF #FASHIONWEEK!

When I was in NY, I was quite active on social media, so if you want to see more pictures of my trip ( ahead of time) FOLLOW ME ON INSTAGRAM.

Sounds quite a whirlwind trip and I hope you’re able to rest now. But what an experience! I love the depth of the green. So beautiful and I’m glad you’ve found a heel, however small, that you can wear.

It was, the 5 days went by and I was at 2 shows ( will share more this week and next) had the best time at INC, as it was more intimate. Glad you liked this look, I am in love with certain green tones and this would be one of them. I am very sore and have to wait a week for PT but will be ok. I appreciate your thoughtfulness!~x

Thank you Debra! I love this color green and would have bought it regardless, so glad you like the outfit. Had a blast! It did take alot out of me, and I will need some intensive PT dry needling and rest to recoup as all of the standing and walking took a tool. It was worth it though. See you tomorrow my friend! XO

That deep green is a gorgeous color with your hair. I love that you went monochrome. That top is so gorgeous. And I must say I am loving this shade of olive green for Fall, also. How lucky you got to go to NYFW!
