26 Mar Got the Blues

Figuratively, not literally. B,B, King once sang, ” Everyday I got the blues.” Well, I can’t say that for my wardrobe either.

I need to incorporate more blue into my wardrobe. I have a lot of many other colors, but I am not sure why I haven’t been drawn to it. I like mint, baby blue, maybe it is just finding the right blue hue! I took a stroll down our development, and we have so many beautiful crepe murtle trees, I really want one. So, I suppose, the next best thing, ( not really!) is looking like we have one in our yard, and smelling the flowers from the trees. Lace is another favorite thing of mine, if it is done well, and I found this skirt at Loft years ago. I wanted to do something with blue, so I thought , black lace skirt. I do like cobalt blue with black, and cobalt was and possibly is showing up in many places, but I just go with what looks good on me. The day was nice, although neighbors walking the pups were looking at me kind of funny. Well, I am sure they will get used to it. Although, some teenage girl said, ” That’s right, Vogue”, and ” Work it”, so I just did my thing. Remember the video, Vogue with Madonna? I did none of those poses.

I HAD to take out this new Brahmin bag, as to me it was the shade of Hydrangea flowers. Not a purple, not a blue , but a mix of the two. Loved it, and finally it can come out of hiding. The texture is something I don’t have in a bag, so between that and the color, I loved it.
