Happy Memorial Day everyone!

It is no secret I like wine. So when I say “grapes of a different variety”… I meant my clothes! I found this top at White House Black Market, on Ebay, and thought it was really cute when it was in the store. I really like purple. So the colors I paired were a mixture of lavendar, dark purple, and other hues. My handbag is one that you haven’t seen me in often, yet I love the girly ruffles and the crinkled leather. We shot this after one of my PT sessions, in a park nearby where I used to do bike riding with my husband.  There is a little pond there with goose, so if one doesn’t mind playing a game of ” step on the crack, it will break you mother’s back”… turned into a game of ” step on the goose poo, it will get your nice sandals dirty”, then it’s fine I risk it! The top has these flirty, flouncy sleeves I liked and the waist line gathered to give a bit of a peplum effect. I bought the shorts from Loft last year, as I have always been into lace, and I love the color. Well, I think I need to continue this “theme” at home, with a nice glass of Malbec.

      Thank you. I started to like purple more and more when I saw other girls especially with red hair wear it. Thank you for the comment. Even though I am in my 40s I will still wear shorts, no rules huh? I love the color lavendar, and really liked these when I saw them last year. I found this top on Ebay, and have gotten a few good deals there recently, but like how the sleeves are feminine.
