25 Nov Happy Thanksgiving Dear Readers + Early Sales!

Albeit a day early, I wanted to wish you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving.

It may not be just like Thanksgivings of the past, but we can still celebrate the blessing we do have.

I know many of us are suffering from “Covid Fatigue” or Covid Burnout.

It does get tiring sometimes, the inability to go places, see people and do  the things we used to do.

My mom has been with us since May, and I am grateful that she is here.

One thing about this situation. A silver lining. My mom and I have always been close, but now, we are even more so.

Talking each morning, politics or newsworthy topics, I looked forward to this discourse.

My mom is a very active person volunteering, working at the library, going to lunch with friends, going on social trips. That came to a screeching halt with Covid.

So, we are helping each other get through some of this, and for that I am grateful as well.

My family and my fur bears are my comfort and joy.

I think often and reflect on what I have and what brings me happiness. So, during this time, when this pandemic continues to rear its ugly head, think about these things. How do you want to see the world in the future when this is over?

Gratitude is everywhere. The sacrifices that have been made by doctors, nurses and all those on the front lines, we have to be thankful.

I still have the memory of all of us going around the dining room table, saying what we were thankful for.

This year, my sister and niece are coming, and we will social distance, wear masks and be outside for Thanksgiving. We will just be 5 this year.

I am also thankful for my readers, here on Elegantly Dressed and Stylish. I appreciate your support and continuing to read my blog .
