It’s Still Summer- Linen Pants Under $50

ubGood Morning!

Hi friends,

Today I am sharing the versatility of linen pants, as it is still summer, and I found some under $50!

It’s one of those garments, certainly if you live in the South, that you will wear into September, and possibly October .We may be eyeing Fall clothing as the Nordies Sale continues, but the heat says otherwise. Mother Nature decides when we turn to Fall, and typically here in NC, it isn’t until November.

So, with that said, I am sharing a summer outfit with my linen pants from J Crew Factory. I have already wore them quite a bit, and this is just an easy but elevated look to wear out. They have other colors and they are an additional 60% off, so grab em now if you have been looking.

Summer Uniform

This is one of those “uniforms” I find easy to wear in the summer-

  • Silk scarf ( to add some pattern and more color) Silk is breathable, but if you are not interested in wearing a neck scarf, choose some timeless jewelry.
  • tank top- these come in a multitude of colors and are under $10.
  • linen pants– these drawstrings are very comfortable and come with a straight leg. and an additional 8 colors. And are ON SALE! These are under $29 dollars if you are looking for an alternative.
  • sandals– both in my older post and this post I am wearing white strappy sandals, and a nude sandal. If wearing a heel doesn’t interest you, try these slides. Here is another option.
  • bag- Mine is from Teddy Blake. If you want another less expensive alternative, here is one.

I know I am squinting! It was a bright sunny day when we took these.

An Easy Outfit Formula

As you see, I wore this formula with another outfit post. I am wearing the

I am wearing a 4 T here, so I recommend if you are taller, at least 5’7″ you might want to order tall.

Are you likely to wear a summer “uniform” like this?

I have two pairs of elastic waist linen pants – I love the tailored ones you showed as they look more elegant! And I think your scarf is the perfect third piece!

Wow, You look fabulous. I used to wear linen to work (it gets so hot here) but I’m a little lazy to iron now so tend not to wear it much now….#ConfidentTwosday

Hi Lydia, thank you so much. I iron just before I wear it, and then it gets wrinkled anyway. I am ok with that, as long as I can keep cool!

Oh, both of these linen outfits are just wonderful, Jess! I like the scarf at the neck, but I’ve never been able to pull that off! It will be summer here in Central Indiana well into September and possibly October. I love linen and don’t mind the wrinkles at all.
