28 Apr Mint and Signs of Spring
Morning everyone!
There is one thing about spring, among many that I enjoy seeing. I don’t know much about flowers, but I know which I like. I couldn’t tell you the names of flowers like my parents or mother-in -law could, they are all avid gardeners. I just love to see blooming tulips, roses, rhododendren bushes, so many others. When we went out with the pups for a sip or two of wine, we decided to take some pictures near these beautiful purple and orchid colored flowers.
Prior to, I had to get out of the car as my husband circled for a spot. My boy, Gibson, was ready to run out with me, and my husband said, went looking at some of our favorite haunts. I was getting my eyebrows threaded ( the best! as my skin is sensitive) and he could not see me with my head back. So, when I was done 15 min later, he can running as if he hadn’t seen me in a week. Another great thing about pets, no sense of time. You can leave for 10 min and it is like 10 hours to them.
I enjoy drinking some pinot grigios on a warmer spring day ( I was going to say “sip”) but does anyone do that with white wine?? It was delicious and refreshing. I decided to go for a mint lace look, with a matching wrap top, accented by a mint and pale pink scarf. Additionally, I bought out my Vieux Rose Balenciaga bag to coordinate with the scarf.
Top: Ann Taylor ( last year, similar), Skirt Ann Taylor ( last year, similar), scarf ( jewel box), earrings: Francesca’s Boutique, ( similar) shoes: Sofft sandals, Balenciaga Bag
Have a great day!

Posted at 10:56h, 28 AprilBeautiful, Jess! I especially love turquoise and mint in summer, it reminds me of the beach, clear water and holidays.
I am a big fan of everything wrapped and draped as it is so figure flattering and feminine.
We have more red wine weather as it is grey, cool and rainy… looking forward to some sunshine!!
Take care,

Posted at 12:28h, 28 AprilThank you Annette! I too think that mint and blue colors certainly do remind one of beaches and clear waters. I wouldn’t mind being there at a beach. I thought of you with the wrap top, as I knew you like those as well.
Well, hoping your weather gets better. It is nice to be able to go out and just sit and relax in the sun at restaurants as well. xxjess
