Don’t know what it is, but I just love sitting outside. The bonus was that this restaurant was a place we hardly frequented before. It was on the lake, and its former ownership’s style was average food, average price, but great place to be. Then the restaurant was bought, and it opened this year. The inside is lovely with it’s high ceilings, excellent comfortable seating, windows all exposing the beautiful marina and lake we enjoy watching. In addition, the chef is new, from the show, “Hell’s Kitchen” with Gordan Ramsey, and was preparing our food! Needless to say, the flavors and combinations are delicious, the wine is varied, as well as very refreshing on the 90 degree days, and there are couches, tables and umbrellas to either sit and drink while one waits or just to hang out by the water and have an appetizer and drinks. We decided to take our meal in the porch area which opens with windows surrounding the lake and fans to cool us off as well. I had delicious flatbread with basil, cheese, goat cheese, lump crabmeat, shrimp and spinach. Delicioso! Mine was so good I forgot what my husband ate. We had an Italian bottle of Pinot Grigio that I enjoyed as well. It was very hotso I wore my light crepe car wash skirt, with a copper floral top from Ann Taylor. I call it my car wash skirt, as if I turn or twirl, it looks like the strips of that wash your car. I wanted to pair it with a copper top for additional color, and if I were to accessorize more I would have added perhaps a copper, gold or mixed metals bracelet or earrings ( something I should look for).. another time. I don’t know why sitting in the sun, and having a glass of wine makes me so tired !

Have a great day!
Jess xo

Thank you!! I appreciate your feedback 🙂 It is a pale blush skirt, but can go with alot. This top was different for me and I loved the copper tones in it. We are getting more and more places to enjoy along the Lake here, so my hubby and I love to sit outside 🙂 Have a great week, jess xx

I love the color combination! Very fresh and summery. Thanks for stopping by! That is so cool that you’re a music major. I love singing so much that I do it all the time and I think I drive people nuts. Unfortunately, I came down with a cold and pink eye at the same time. Not fun. But I’m getting better, so I won’t sound like a croaking frog any more.

    Hi Jess,
what a beautiful location, seems you spent a mini holiday there at the lake. When the weather is nice I love to have dinner outside too, but here it is often too cold. Unfortunately!
Love your cute top which goes so well with the necklace.

Thank you Monika! You are cute! I live here, about 10 minutes from the Lake. Honestly, when we moved here, it did feel like a bit of a resort area, and sometimes it gets taken for granted 🙂 We try and go sit outside when possible, and there are alot of sunny days here in the summer. Aww. Just when the weather is nice where you are, grab a glass of white wine and enjoy!
Glad you like the top and necklace. The top I ordered from Ebay 🙂 Jess xo
